He's saying "Patent", its his accent/pronunciation that makes it sound weird. And while I don't know exactly what a patent is, I think the best way I could describe it is like, giving someone the right to use your invention. Not sure how correct that is but its roughly what it is

Love all the people trying to correct the pronunciation of “patent” without even bothering to look it up in a dictionary first. Both long and short A are valid pronunciations. Sources which list both pronunciations often have the long A one listed before the short A one. So all y’all trying to nitpick are just confidently but objectively incorrect.

Thinking...wasn't Pokémon Day in July back then (I mean in 2005/2006/2007) or am I imagining it, because I found an old "pamphlet"/flier with Pokémon Day and it was listed for July 7th...EDIT: nevermind, I found out it's country's Pokémon Day and each one has/had its own P-Day (Italy's was in July indeed). Pokémon Za an entire game based on luminous City instead of the normal Pokémon formula like traveling from city to city and towns, forests and caves etc…I really really hope this mainline game doesn’t Flop badly for the first time in years …imagine walking or running to different streets and alleys just to find certain Pokémon ??? Or in a store of the buildings in luminous City I just can’t imagine where there are headed with this new approach 😫😫😫🤦🏽♂️

A lot of the Pokemon Community is getting way too expectant of a Gen 5 game announcement, so even after getting Z-A news, some people may still be disappointed, lol. Let us keep our expectations in check! Z-A is all we are getting and that is fine because we have waited so long.

This is the first Z-A rumor you’ve posted about that is even a little believable. As for the starters being different even though the game is set in the future, why can’t it happen? It’s a fantasy game, they can literally say anything to explain why there’d be different starters 25 years in the future. “Increased tourism to the area, climate change, etc” they can literally make anything up and the fan base will take it at face value. As for the starters being odd choices, I’d be very happy to see those 3 get regional forms. I love totodile and I hate Incineroar’s design so I’d be thrilled with something new

Megas for the starters would be better. If the game will be as hard as LA having them without megas is such a debuff since i could see them having mega bosses. The other thing is regional forms are just lame LA did a bad job with the starters nothing really new mostly just a straight up recolor for the starters so dont expect a big change in Design. A mega evo gives a way better chance of getting a cool new Design maybe a more beast like incineroar

@ I’d like megas but I don’t think we’re getting them if they’re different starters. There’s no way they’d give 3 starters from different gens a mega without giving all the others one too. Like mega feraligatr without a mega meganium and typhlosion makes no sense. Unless they decided to give every starter a mega which is possible but feels unlikely
