I think its was almost done last year but Nintendo asked for it to be a launch title for the switch 2 so they held off on releasing it and made a better version for the switch 2. As for starters I think it's going to be 3 starters from a past gen with a new form added in the game. Not the gen 1, 6 or 9 starters as 1 and 6 were already in X&Y and 9 is this gen's starters. And the legends Arceus starters are also out as they were the last legends starters. And the gen 3 starters are out as they got megas in gen 6 they might be in the game but not as the starter picks. My picks for starters are meganium, empoleon, and incineroar.

I couldn't agree more. I suspect Nintendo's the one telling TPC to withhold ZA news, too. A Switch launch lineup would not be complete without a Pokémon game. Switch 1 had LGPE. Switch 2 will have PLZA.

Some of the pokémon community sucks those who suck were really saying we want an announcement and others were saying they should take more time so that's what they did. They're taking time but they gave us a teaser for the game that is probably not that close to finishing. It is not their fault they have a lot on their plate if we take into account that they will be making generation 10 on a new console they have never worked with and they just got hacked earlier multiple times

Agreed. 👍🏻 People talk awful things about Khu, but somehow Centro gets away with it. Their leaks, which are often decorated speculations, honestly, have been obviously wrong plenty of times. My theory: It would make since snivy and piplup they are french inspired. For me, torchic makes the most since, for gen 3 being tied to gen 6. I can also see them making a reference to XY by giving us two sets of starters, the Kalos and ZA starters.

Bouffalant being cut is a bit an injustice since Donphan got two forms and Tauros even got THREE (not so different one from another)! T__T Charizard, Lucario and Greninja DO NOT deserve any other forms or attention! 🙄

I think the change to Donphan makes more sense. Remember that Paradox Donphan is one of the Titans. That gives a feel that, even in different universes (as in Scarlet and Violet), the Titan will still be an out-of-time Donphan who escaped Area Zero. Plus, Donphan is available around that desert area. So, narratively, it makes sense why it's Donphan. The other reason for the exclusion of Boufallant, I think, was due to Tauros getting version-exclusive Paldean formes. And Tauros fits better fo Spanish-based Paldea.

I agree. Even the remake of Johto was before gen 5. Gen 2 deserves its time next. Best gen needs to come to modern tech. They did kanto twice, and while it was part of the go thing they still did a new remake of essentially yellow. Not that I would hate a let’s go johto. I loved let’s go, but anything for gen 2 would make me happy. I ended up enjoying bdsp it could even get that treatment for me to be happy.

@ it very clearly is set in the past again look at the documents in the trailer they are old style documents and all the buildings aren’t built yet they are showing a vision of how the city could be when it’s built hence the documents saying urban redevelopment project our role in the game will be to help build lumiose city into it’s current form, that makes logical sense, also it’s a legends game obviously we’re not gonna have the kalos starters because they will give us different starters with new end forms like last time, obviously the kalos starters will be in the game just like arceus but we will have to catch them, I know the entire game is supposedly set in lumiose city, but it’s still a Pokemon game that means we have to catch them all and complete the Pokédex, also that means that there will have to be areas in the city that have there own biomes so we can catch different kinds of Pokémon, but either way we will see who is right and who is wrong when it finally releases

Scorebunny was the 1st Fire starter of a new Gen on the Switch. It also explains why Kanto wasn't chosen for PLA. We got Gen 2, Gen 7, and Gen 5, all not on the Switch.

The 'past and future' pokemon are just dumb gimmicks. Same for the terra whatevers, and the giantamax. The games are just riding out any hype train for their dumb gimmicks that they get rid of after a gen or two. Considering that Game Freak only had 2.5 years to make SV, I think all of the haters and critics need to walk back their hateful statements. A lot of us love this game and don’t appreciate how y’all’s toxic behavior ruined all future releases and updates.

No one told them to make such a big game in that little time. If you want to make an open world game you need more time or it will be rushed and glitchy. Make a smaller one with higher quality if you’re on a deadline. They chose to go full open world rather than a smaller steps from swish and arceus and they got more money from it than any other game except RBY and swsh

You're right. SV deserves waaaay more hate. It got off easy for being a Pokémon game. It still makes me laugh that with all of those programmers, money and resources, they made a game that plays _worse than RBY._ No other generation until SV would crash _before the title screen._ It had more bugs than Santalune Forest.

I mean in Arceus, we had the random starters AND gen 4, So why wouldn’t they do that again? But then just give the gen 6 starters mega evolutions. I still think it’s going to be totodile, turtwig, and litten. I don’t think Gen 5 starters will be in za because of the black and white remakes. And I don’t think Gen 1, or 3 will be the random starters because of mega evolution. So those 3 feel correct to me.
