Question: I just ordered a hat online that says it's satin lined, I bought it to protect my curly hair from frizzing and also for the breathable so I don't sweat out my hair. However, i just double checked the hat fabric and it says that the lining is 82% Polyester, 18% Cotton. (Top cap fabric: 51% Wool, 32% Polyester, 17% Viscose) Will these fabrics make my head sweat in warm or cool weather? Also, what you recommend for a lining that will suit my needs. Thank you for this video, very valuable information. 🤠

These videos are absolutely fascinating. I have just pulled apart my husband's very worn canvass hat made a pattern and recreated it... It looks fab and how his old one used to look. I would love to have a go at a felt one, but the tools you use are something else... Hats off to you, your craftsmanship is incredible.

Beautiful work Sir. You are not in a hurry at all. Attention to detail in every movement. To bad the world doesn't share your passion. Great video.

I love your hats, and I think some people simply look better in hats than other people. Apparently, according to others, O gave a great hat face. Most hats look good. The only clear exception is the clouch. I digress. What I wanted to say is little people like myself, often are wary of a big hat like an old style 1920s cowgirl style hat. These have a very broad brim 5-6 in. And some have a very high crown as well. I wear mine a lot and get all kinds of compliments. Being short doesn't mean you can't wear what you want. Look at the great old rodeo photos of original real cow girls. Many were very tiny wo.en and they look great in the split skirts or billowy trousers and big hats. Admittedly big hat were still in style at the time. But I love this ribboned fur felt hats.

I've heard runours that the modern x system is supposedly standardized around weight and thickness along side stiffness. But all of that just feels arbitrary and scholarly "armchair".

Мы современные мужчины перестали носить шляпы. Костюмы. Гармоничную одежду. Велика ли потеря? Несомненно! Это называется мельчяние. Дамы и мужчины измельчали. Пропасть всего в столетие.

if you got more on the topic, please do share - i cant find proper information on this, most 'reshaping you hat' articles/videos are about crushed hats and not about the basic shape (which seem essential if, like me, one has got a more oval head shape). thanks man <3
