We don't choose our fur babies, they choose us. It may have taken a while for her to warm up to you, but, that's a smart cat, to make sure the one she chose was going to love her forever. Then you got a super bonus with her kittens. Congrats on being a great dad & Gpa, all in a matter of days. They will give you the best years you'll ever have. Our fur babies are AMAZING!

His cropped ears didn't make him look mean, to me. They made him look abused. I saw this on bully pups in the city where I used to work. Quite sad. This is cropping done by completely incompetent people. Wonder how they would like to have that done to them. People who abuse dogs are people who abuse people. Special place in hell for them. God Bless you for loving this rescue!

During the nursing process hormones are released into the cat's bloodstream causing a "love/nurture" response towards the kittens which can sometimes also cause the Mamma cat to imprint on the human helping her. Congratulations on becoming her human.

Deer can have ticks and parasites I would be careful letting them cuddle small kids . In the wild they also go into periods of aggression and can hurt an adult human .

I can believe that she was a feral my dad fed feral cats it started with four with two of them being Siamese one white tabby and a black cat. Most of them in time left and never seen again but one stayed where she was spoiled and lived to the age of 15 and along the way we had a lot of outdoor ferals and we tamed some of them we had a male Siamese that lived to age of 21 . Its good to know that there is good people in the world today that will help a feral cat.

Be careful for predators though too. Cats live longer if indoor only. You can train him on a leash for walks to keep him safe & live a long happy life.
