I think I'd be more in tune with this lesson were it not so blatantly American skewed. A strange choice given that KZbin is global, as will be those watching.

Awesome! Thank you! I'm very excited to find this! I sing comfortably from B2-G4, but G2-D5 if warmed up. C5 and D5 are recent additions, and its hard to sing them with a strong tone. So many teachers and directors (I just joined such a choir for the first time in 43 years) who don't seem to believe a contralto... especially with my speaking voice. Then again my whole family is that way. By dad speaks tenor but sings baritone. Myself and my grandmother's aunts are contraltos with higher speaking voices. My grandmother had an alto to alto 2 speaking voice and she was a soprano opera singer.

By the way, this style of singing has existed for a long time, (Mariah Carey, etc.) But not for the whole song, and it is used as an effect to enhance tender and romantic parts in the song, and accordingly to experience others with a different technique . This is very useful for the voice and is not recommended, it can be used as an effect, but not to be sung like this all the time. Everyone treats their voice as they see fit, but don't be surprised that it gets tired quickly and dries up, a lot of air passing through the vocal cords is harmful to them and causes problems. horsenes, polyps and nodules.
@milanpianoman6 күн бұрын
Anything with a lot of air is falsetto, not head voice. Even very low notes sung with air are still falsetto. Head voice is pure connected, airless voice resonating in the head.

Whenever I reach E4 my voice just stops working
@30DaySinger14 күн бұрын
It sounds like you might be hitting a vocal breakpoint. 🎶 To work through this, try these techniques: Warm Up Gently: Use gentle vocal exercises to ease into higher notes. Breathing Support: Ensure you’re using proper breath support to maintain control. Gradual Scale Work: Practice scales that gradually approach E4 to build strength and flexibility. Relaxation: Make sure your throat and jaw are relaxed to avoid unnecessary tension. With consistent practice, you’ll likely find that your range improves. Keep at it! 🌟
