How to make this automatic cutter machine

It would be easier to make seperate heads, really no need for them to be one piece. The "Panther Pup" 4 cylilnder is designed with 4 seperate heads. Prevents ruining the entire head, if say a tap breaks off in the last threaded hole.

If sand casting is a black art, investment casting is an enigma shrouded in a mystery. A runner or riser to let the air escape while pouring might help. The investment isn't very porus like sand is. Also, consider leaving the valve holes solid and drilling them out after casting. Good luck. I returned to simple sand casting after 3 or 4 failed attempts to invest several parts for my engines. Still have all the equipment and hopefull will get the time to try again soon. When it works the parts are beautiful. !

What size cc did you made it? And are you using nitro to run it?

I think the main problem is that you were degassing the investment while the 3D print was inside. What happens when you apply vacuum is you're pulling all the air from inside of the 3D printed part out and pulling the investment inside of it. You should follow a burn out process 3-4 hours at 300-350C then 700-730C for 5 hrs let cool slowly to around 400C then pour. PLA burns out quite nicely. Don't be discouraged plenty of us have had failures. Print with minimal infill!

Where is pin locks cuts?

You can make perfect piston rings with no heat. You mill the gap first then make turning jigs that hold the gap closed while you turn the OD and bore the ID. Done perfectly round rings with zero heat and thus distortion. Search KZbin "PC R350"
