Hi! what kind of Blizzak did you have? DM-V3? or LM005? I'm choosing between this nexen and blizzak LM005 fir my SUV. But blizzak is much more expensive
@teejaylc22 сағат бұрын
I have had the DMV3. They are pricey. I promise you will like the nexen a lot better. The biggest thing I didn't talk about in the video as much is when the weather is nice, with no snow and the temperature goes back up, the nexens still perform great and start to feel like an all season tire which I didn't expect. The blizzak in dry semi warmer weather is terrible and unsafe imo. Hope that helps

That low profile tire with a minimal fender gap is NOT an ideal set up for winter tires. The snow quickly jams in that restricted gap. I guess if you're all about "the look" this makes sense...I'd be installing a smaller wheel with a higher profile tire for winter driving.

Nice video! Not sure I’d go with these spacers though, seem a bit cheap.
@teejaylc5 күн бұрын
Thank you! They are actually really nice quality and for me all I see with the "other ones" from bigger name companies are $200 mark up. Yeah they might be a little nicer but for me these will do the same thing and I'm happy with them. These are around 50 bucks a set and the ones other websites are selling are 180 a set. Not worth it to me but to each their own. I just wanted to make a nice alternative to someone who would want to spend the extra $200 they are saving on the next mod

I’d recommend retorquing the spacer bolts after 500miles or use a little bit of blue loctite when you install them. Also interesting thought u had with using the rear spacers for the front. I imagine you wouldn’t need longer studs if the front is same as rear
@teejaylc6 күн бұрын
Yeah I plan on it just to be safe. Thanks! I didn't measure them, but from visually looking at the studs, the rears looked longer after I took the factory spacers out but I don't know for sure. I like the 15 mil up front but I feel that would be a good option for someone trying to save a few bucks while still getting good fitment
