Well, I haven't played DCS for about a year now so I don't know. If the "Enable Visual Recon Mode" binding is gone then I'd assume they removed it or reworked it.

This bug got fixed within the month of it popping up. I just thought it was funny to upload this clip. I stopped playing DCS about a year ago, so I don't really know how the sim has (or hasn't) progressed.

It uses vaccums i think, he fires it then activates them, vaccums attract to anything Infront of them, 5 is enough for a missle, i think ik how he did it

Nope, he uses sensors. They're visible in the video, plus you can download the workshop item.

Having bombs in the missiles made them too vulnerable to auto turrets. The flamethrower is perfectly capable against stock flying machines, and you can add blast charges to the fireworks if you so desire.

Su-33/35 is what they used in the intro. Not sure if you just don't have the Su-33 or not but other than that its a solid video. Good work.

It was a 35 in the original. I do have the 33 but there wasn't the livery for it on the forums. I also didn't want to go with the 33 because the proportions were off and the tail hook looked weird in some of the shots.

That was actually the sound of the plane the video was being taken from. I just attached the camera to another aircraft flying parallel to the first to get the shot smooth.

All the settings in my DCS game are set to the default "Medium" except for shadows, which was "Flat only". The textures for the carrier and F-22 mod were pretty crusty because they were both older models. I probably could have cranked the settings up to max for this, but the carrier and F-22 would still look crusty. My gamma setting could have been lower for some of the shots as well. Maybe that would have helped KZbin compression not remove some smaller details.

D-ray was the helicopter pilot, not Bishop. And I think Monarch just bore-sighted the turret and used it like a regular HGP.

This was on minimum graphics settings. My computer is pretty much done for if I set them any higher.

In real life that bomber cannot sustain a negative g maneuver such as strait and level inverted flight😌The engines would be starved for fuel and the drag would be enormous. Stability would be negative and most of the systems would malfunction. In reality most aircraft cannot sustain inverted strait and level flight; even many military aircraft.

is this vanilla? it seems like you’re using sensors and maybe propellors to guide the missile but it works so well

Yes, sort of. I cheated the sensor ranges and the rockets on the back (for more thrust), but no parts are resized or clipped into each other. You can read the description if you want more details. This took hours of fine tuning to get it to work well. It's all about making sure the missile is balanced at any angle.
