I love this track, my dad has taken me here since 2015(excluding 2020) to see Imsa and I have always loved coming to visit. And I absolutely agree that the Imsa race was fantastic!

I would think Jacky Ickx's win in 1969 would be the most impressive - given that he forsook the traditional Le Mans start and simply walked to his car at the start, losing out to the others. Because of Ickx's protest, and the death of John Woolfe, the Le Mans start was abandoned the next time they raced at Le Mans...

That was a good race indeed! I also really loved last year, Ferrari return with a great car and win it. And this year they won it again. Fun fact that is was 90 years ago since a manufacturer pulled that of winning both Le Mans and the Monaco Grand Prix in the same year. Last one was Alfa Romeo in 1934.

Now, a year and a half later, 8 time race winner, 27 podiums, 6 pole positions, the only LMDH to win a WEC race, the only hypercar/gtp to sweep the podium. Never underestimate Porsche and their programs

This just reinforces my own views that Monaco hasn't been fit for F1 for a long number of years now. The only reason it is still on the calendar is the revenue generated over the weekend as a whole.

Yeah, this is exactly what F1 pilots say. For some teams Monaco is not a race track, but rather a place and opportunity to find new sponsors, due to the count of rich and influential people who visit it. Their [pilot's] main job here is to smile and wave their hands to the audience.

@@dodgy_jammer281Yes, well said. Monaco for F1 post 2010 is simply a qualifying battle race. It determined your race performance where you qualify and the only interesting part of the race week, especially since the hybrids came up, alongside the aero rules and extra weight and width of the cars.
