I’d be interested to hear more about how Eric Burdon hasn’t recovered from the pressure on the Animals in the 60’s, as Pete says

Anyone know the name of the American band Pete referenced at the very beginning?

An epic performance by Pete and one of our favorites. He promised to comeback to the Fillmore but never did.

Wow. Great share. I REALLY enjoyed it. Long live rock!

Do you think there will ever be a release of LIVE IN TORONTO 1982 or any more professional filmed concerts of that era ? They were epic performances & even though some diss Kenny Jones the addition of Him & a keyboard player gives a better 'musical' experience overall. Moon's drumming is so patchy here it kinda ruins the experience musically (IMO). It's sad. Love Him but love the LIVE concert experience of the WHO also & the live footage from 1979 to 1982 is all really really good ,from what I've bought & other's I've watched on youtube so far.

Wow, never seen this footage before. Thanks for the share. Must have been mindblowing for the audience. The Ox only gets a few seconds on film, a pity. Otherwise kudos to the lads - forever the best and most original pop-rock group of all time. Time to release one last single to remind the world, Pete and Roger?

Roger forgot the lyrics in take 1. Called it "a senior moment." I am really surprised to find someone filmed this. Robert Plant was the opener.

Even as long-term Who fan, I've never seen anything quite like this, in terms of what happens at the end. Strangely, Roger keeps singing throughout the destruction, and Pete seems to put some thought into it, rather than just smashing the guitar. His tuning adjustments at this point are also unusual - any theories regarding why he's doing this?

I was there - when they played PINBALL wizzard the roadies released some HUGE silver beach balls that looked like giant pinballs - about 10 feet wide. The crowd bopped the balls all over like a giant pinball game -anyone remember that -? No footage. And I wasn't THAT STONED

I first discovered David Sandborn because of his association with Roger in 1994... this show and they were both on Letterman together too. Your sax continues on in the cosmos! You played beautifully! Thank you for sharing your gift. RIP David Sanborn. ♥

There are stories of boys at shows like these picking fights with the band, because the girls are giving them so much attention.

Why does Zeppelin release all thier 1969-1973 shows in great quality while the Who only gets 1968-1971? Both the greatest live bands ever and they never get the same treatment in releases. The Who was at thier prime through 1968-1976 and Zeppelin from 1969-1973.

I don’t think Pete liked the Marshall’s because they distorted too soon. HiWatts were cleaner at louder volume. It worked for everyone else though…
