I really don't know about this unit; I just got it and to me, all it seems to do is add a bit of bass, which I can easily do with my amp. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it just yet.
@ttaurus393Ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. That's what it's supposed to do take the brightness down a bit. Your absolutely right if you have a good amp you might not need this. But if your running your acoustic through a PA that's when this might come in handy. PA system always sound a bit brighter.
@kengribas5965Ай бұрын
@@ttaurus393 Yes I agree; I'm using a Fishman Loudbox mini and I can just add a bit of bass and get the same effect as I would with this unit. I will try it with my Yamaha transacoustic guitar and see if it really enhances the sound. Thank you for the video.

Thankyou for your review. I am stuck on the Roland street EX 2 or the ( Roland) Boss street two!? From the comments the Boss is probably Best for me cause I play acoustic guitar and its got the vocal harmony and 45 Or 90 second Looper too. Please give me your advice and experience with the Boss street 10 watts and the Roland street ex 2 that has watts control of 50.watts then 25 and half again to 12.5 watts. I almost got the Roland yesterday and I think I'm glad I didn't.
@ttaurus3932 ай бұрын
Hi Thanks for watching and writing in. I do not know much about the Roland unit. I can say that the Boss Cube street 2 has a very clear sound , love both the harmony, and looper. It has enough volume for a good crowd standing about 10 to 15 feet away and or a small coffee house. I mostly use it plugged in so I'm not sure how long the battery life would be. But I can say it's a lot of fun easy to set up and probably The lightest unit out there. Hope this helps. Thanks again.

Nice video. I got the Bose S1 Pro and the BOSS ve8 too. Currently using the Boss ve 8 with my large set up a RCF J8 and for the SPro I got the TC Helicon play acoustic. I get better results turning on the tonematch in each channel but the guitar channel clip very easy with the play acoustic . I’m thinking about swich rigs and try the Boss ve with the S1pro. Do you used the s1pro tonematch with the Boss Ve.

@ttaurus3932 ай бұрын
Appreciate you writing in. There are two Boss foot switch you can use. One that's battery operated and the other has an adapter plug for electricity. The one I'm using is the Boss FS7 dual foot switch that's the one with the adapter. The FS6 is totally battery operated and it's best for busking. And in my opinion I like the FS6 better. Hope this helps happy gigging.

how are the harmonics on this guitar? i played an ovation years ago and i loved the sound ive become a more accomplished guitarist since then and have only played on ibanez and alvarez acoustics. ive found myself in situations where i need to be able to project the acoustic sound while not having to lug around a setup to my friends or out in the mountains, second question why are the fret boards cut on the highest low notes and third question does the acoustic sound project well from the super shallow bodies compared to a regular wood guitar?
@ttaurus3933 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching really appreciate it. I can answer this the guitar sounds great both plugged and unplugged. I believe the fret board is cut to fit the style if the guitar. I really recommend that you try and go to your local music store and try one of theses super shallow bowl acoustic guitars, they have a very unique sound. I think you'll be surprised at how good they handle.
@koolmokash639325 күн бұрын
I’d suggest you look at Glen Cambell’s various solos online. I think ovations are super interesting when trying to cut through the mix as it is bright as heck. As a rhythm guitar, it might be a little bright for most band setups.

I agree that the less equipment you use the better. So it’s best to buy quality equipment that does the job. I had the Bose S1 and I thought the Tone Match was terrible. The S1 regular tone is a great choice for acoustic and vocals though.

The power supply recommendation in the catalog and and back of the pedal is confusing ..!!! Could you please tell us which is 100 % goes with this HS2 pedal ..!!? Power adapter with 9v 300 mA or 9v 670 mA ?????
@ttaurus3934 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and writing in. I just use a standard 9v power supply you can get it at your local music store, they run about 20 bucks or so. I suggest bringing the unit in to your local music store and they can show you the correct adapter you'll need.

Do you think this amp could be used on stage in a band straight out to pa and everyone on stage can hear you. Have a mobile phone on stand to make tweeks to effects etc on fly. Thinking about getting one to replace my current busking amp especially if its so versatile.
@ttaurus3934 ай бұрын
Good question thanks for watching. I know it can be lined out to a PA and it can be used as a personal monitor. Not to sure about the band situation, I've only used it as a solo artist artist. But it's a good little amp.

Hey I have a question, what cables to I need to plug this in, and what equipment because I'm having trouble getting this to work with my microphone.
@ttaurus3935 ай бұрын
Hi and thanks for watching. You'll need two XLR cables one go's from microphone to the blue box and one from the blue box to your amplifier/ PA system. Then if your also playing guitar with it you'll also need two quarter inch jack cables. One go's from guitar to the blue box and the other from blue box to your amplifier/ PA system. Hope this helps. The two XLR cables Jack's are located on the back of the unit and the quarter inch jacks are located at the sides.
