The big vs small guitar description is actually feedback suppression. You are flipping the output signal to be out of phase which prevents feedback but when listening to your acoustic guitar vs amplified signal sounds thin due to the signal being out of phase.

I have this pedal, got it free with a guitar that i traded for, have used it multiple times and it is one of my favorites it does make a difference with mid range acoustic guitars....
