Barca Boy, try not to be bias, I know you love Xavi and you were always team Xavi to stay. Laporta is right. The team is good enough to compete! Not for all throphys but for at least two! Maybe Copa del Rey and La liga! The problem with this pass season is that Barca under Xavi didn’t even compete! How come we won two trophies last year with arguably an even worse squad! This year we didn’t even compete! Girona gave Real Madrid an actual fight in la liga and Barca where never there! Never! I’m not saying the team is perfect. Yes we need 2-3 critical signings to compete for even more trophies but with the current team we should at least be fighting and staying in the title race! Xavi had too many excuses. Blaming everyone ! Blaming refs, blaming finances ect, but how come Girona competed with a squad much less valuable than ours??!! We lost twice to Girona! Both times they scored 4 past us! That’s absolutely unacceptable! “We played better, blah blah blah, we deserved to win, blah blah blahhh!” Enough excuses! We need to actually compete! We were never even in the race! “Ohh injuries, blah blah blah!” Real Madrid had arguably worse injuries! Girona also had injuries! Bilbao had injuries! Everyone deal with injuries! Laporta sees the current team good enough to compete and yes it’s true ! We have better players now than when we won the league with Xavi on his first full season! So c’mon man! The team should atleast be able to compete!

Everyone scared of Mbappe 🤣 let me tell you guys that Real Madrid were only successful because of a world class number 9 like R9, CR7, Benzema, CR7 was winger turned striker after his ankle injury but still a athletic striker. Mbappe is just a speedster, when we faced PSG they had Dembele and Barcola and which are like rodrygo and vini amd we still managed to defend Mbappe, it was only after we got the red card that was when Mbappe had more space. I would be scared if Real Madrid would’ve gotten Haaland, but if we defended like we did against psg in the first leg then we are fine. Mbappe isn’t a traditional number 9 that could jump in the air like CR7 nor find the space like Benzema to score goals.

I think Felix will do well with Flick. If Flick plays him behind the striker, he will do very well because if he's really good at something it's playing behind the striker, between the lines... That said, he has to give his best on the pitch and like... must not give up after giving an assist or scoring a goal thinking it's enough. But honestly i think we'll see Fermin as the false 9 most often in the next season lol

The problem with felix with flick style is work rate and physicality. Its something that could be worked on but it definitely wont be comfortable period for felix. If he does well it would be massive upgrade for barca and portugal.

I wasn’t a fan of Xavi either. He never has a plan B when things aren’t going his way. Made a really big mistake last season keeping Alonso and letting Grimaldo go Leverkusen for free. I would sell Raphinha, he’s a back up to Yamal who can generate you 70mil.

I don’t understand all the Roberto hate. He takes up next to no wage space, can play in a lot of positions, knows the club and tactics well, and has shown up in big games from time to time. He’s not starting XI material but he can do a job against worse opponents for rotation. It’s not his fault we’ve had to rely on him in important games when starters aren’t fit. If you can bring in better squad depth, then sure get rid of him. But if you can’t sign anybody else as a good second option, you’re just getting rid of an important squad player bc you’re mad he’s not good enough to start.

this is the 20th time that barcelona has "Identified" nico williams and josua kimmich as targets. Are we gonna keep identifying or actually do something. I seen this club win the league, identify a bunch of targets just to only spend 3 million in transfers and go trophyless because of it.
