Actually guys u are not doing writing very right and your. Very wrong about these radio I use them every single day they are public safety shft two way radios they are not kid toys and dude on the video u have to manually turn the rogerbeep on with the volume and power button hold those too at the same time in order to turn the rogerbeep on and off and I just usally use the roger beep so I know that I’m talking to my police dispatch

I have the same model cobra radios. Never had any problems or issues with them. Both myself and my wife have used ours for many different things. They are great little radios for around $ 60.00 dollars at Walmart. I would recommend using standard AA batteries instead of the rechargeable batteries that comes with the radios.

Hi: From what I have heard, read or seen, a handheld cb with a short stock or even extendable antenna has a very short range..."it's all about the antenna with a CB radio," handheld or otherwise. If you were to connect this type of cb radio to a high mounted base antenna configuration (and it's easily done) I would bet the reception would be night and day comparted to the small handheld style of antennas. Don't blame the radio for the poor reception, you need a proper antenna setup.
