Those who fix up ladders and ropes in that dangerous ever moving kumbhu ice falls are real heroes for me.... Though here they may be called ice doctors but for me they are the kings ,they own those freaky giant Himalayan mountains.....for me even crossing the kumbhu icefall will be the greatest achievement....

What bothers me is I checked and I don't remember how they did this but they abandoned it for some reason They had a route around the kumbu icefall unfortunately they only used it for one season I don't understand that

Yes..unfortunately I had a bacterial infection from water and got fever so my spo2 dropped 49%

I would love to be in those mountains in person some day, but I do not see that in my future. I've only been in some of Colorado's 14'ers, but never been a climber. It is fascinating to see your abilities amongst those gorgeous mountains!!
