Hey man, I’m not sure if you’re still active but I’m creating my own Universal Park in Minecraft and wanted to do justice to my favorite ride at the park (Twister!!) How was this done? How did you create the tornado? What mods did you use to have the items and objects move and fly around? I’d love if you could give insight to another fan as to how to make something similar to this. Hope to hear back from you soon dude :)

Well I am very much still active (long gaps between videos because these take a while to make) but I can quickly explain some it. So the Tornado done with an armorstand above the show area that is being spun in circles using a tp command. Then I have cloud particles spawn behind and in front of where the armorstand is looking. That way, as it spins, the particles spin creating the spinning effect. As for the flying blocks, I used a plugin called Train Carts. Most people use it for making trains from linking minecarts together, or ride vehicles like you see on most theme park MC servers, but you can also add items to the train which can then have animations. So I used a texture pack to remodel some items into the way I wanted them to look, and then made train animations for the flying. If that's all a bit confusing typed out, I made a behind the scenes video for this and my Minecraft Jaws Ride, which should explain a little bit better than this reply can.

I learned the basics of train carts from a few KZbin tutorials, and commands from the same. But to be 100% honest, I wouldn't be this good if not for practice. I made rides, rides that were not good. It's work, but the best advice I can give, is just practice.

I find that I end up using clone and particle commands a lot. And while I don't use any Mods, I do use a plugin for Minecraft Java Edition (Sort of like a mod but everything is server side rather than something you download) called train carts. But to be honest, you don't even need train carts. If you can build a good set, and make a mine cart track through it, you can create some pretty cool rides off of that alone.

Two great suggestions. Earthquake was the first ride I made, but I never uploaded a video since it's not... good, like, at all. But I could see myself remaking it at some point. As for Back to the Future, I do have plans to put that in the theme park I'm working on. No time frame on when it could be done, it will probably happen sometime in the summer.

Lots of practice and trial and error. Making other rides, learning new ways of doing things, and just... doing it. The best way to learn how to make rides in Minecraft, is making rides in Minecraft.

I see, yeah making it actually go backwards does look better (using clone like I did is a bit blocky) but either way is good. That's what makes making rides in Minecraft fun. Coming up with new ways to do things that have been done before. (It's why I've made Jaws 3 times lol)

Thank you for the kind words! I'm not sure what you mean by the text for the front entrance, but I'm gonna take a guess and think you mean the sign. That is a custom texture from a texture pack, and a remodeled piece of (I think blue) dye. It is placed in the item frame, appearing to be the entrance sign. As for the moving ride vehicles, those were made using the plugin Train Carts. I talk a little bit about using train carts in my Jaws Ride Behind the Scenes video.
