Minecraft Horizons Recreation

Step into the future on LaughingCar's latest theme park attraction recreation, Epcot's classic Horizons! Opening October 1st 1983, the ride let you take a short trip into the future, giving you a view of the far off future of the 21st century. Now that the real ride has been closed, the only way of riding it is through the video screen. Today, you will get to see it all in Minecraft. First look back at tomorrow, then take a look at modern innovations of the 1980s, following this not at all dated section of the ride, move into the future taking a look at some desert farms, undersea classrooms, and even space crystal labs. Finally, using the lighted panels on your ride vehicle, choose how YOU wish to go back to the future port, Space, Desert, or Undersea. Now enough of me spoiling, sit back relax, and remember: If we can dream it, we can do it...

Awesome build buddy. This project is super cool, the choose your own ending is so cool! Keep on working on cool stuff like this man, your truly improving a ton and your builds are feeling so much more organic and real.

Excellent work!! I love the moving figures and your attention to detail. I'm curious: How did you create the text for the front entrance as well as the moving ride vehicles? Thanks!

Thank you for the kind words! I'm not sure what you mean by the text for the front entrance, but I'm gonna take a guess and think you mean the sign. That is a custom texture from a texture pack, and a remodeled piece of (I think blue) dye. It is placed in the item frame, appearing to be the entrance sign. As for the moving ride vehicles, those were made using the plugin Train Carts. I talk a little bit about using train carts in my Jaws Ride Behind the Scenes video.

Thank you so much for making Horizons, World of Motion, and so many other rides I remember and miss (have you made the original imagination yet?) - Do you have a server or is there somewhere to download your rides? Seriously amazing work but I want to be able to ride them for myself - why don't you have more subscribers?

Thank you so much for your kind words. I too am sad these attractions have closed and I'm glad I've let you have a chance to remember them. I sadly don't have a server or way to download these, but I hope that that could change some day.
