🇨🇦 I admit that I prefer her live version in Paris from 2001 ! Lara is a trained Lyric Soprano ! 🇨🇦

🇨🇦 Lara has done many covers, but she has also written, sung and performed over 200 songs during her career ! She speaks 2 languages natively (French and Italian) and is fluent in Spanish and English ! Try reacting to "Quedate" in Spanish or "Caruso" in Italian or "Requiem pour un fou" in French (as a duet with Johnny Hallyday) or "You're not from here" , but bring a box of tissues ! 🇨🇦

The song is a gem, it was one of her songs that reached the top 10 in France charts. But it even grew bigger after it and has become now a french classic, her most iconic french song. It is still attracting a lot of covers from the young french and canadian vocalists generation (Amir, Jeck, …). Most frenchmen know the song by heart. Surprisingly, it was also a massive success in russia and eastern europe: she became a superstar there thanks to it (and 15 years before her lengthy collaboration with Igor Krutoy that extended this even further) and the song is a MUST in russian karaoke and a recurrent in russian singer contests. Again many covers of this songs from eastern europe talents: Polina Gagarina, Sevara Nazarkhan, Katerina Maslova, Natalia Tsarikova, … As always with her biggest hits, Lara has performed it in many different ways: • Intense and powerful at the World Music Awards 1999 • Subtle and delicate in her En Toute Intimité 2003 tour. • Classy and moving, performing with 2 vertebrae broken, at Royal Albert Hall in London (2011) • Jazzy in a recent perf (2018) with a band from Quebec The lyrics are also mesmerizing. Despite the title, it is not a classic love song but a breakup song instead. “Je t’aime” was written by Lara Fabian and Rick Allison, her longtime music producer and composer. He also had been her boyfriend for a few years, at the start of her career. This song was written when their love evolved to a friendship and a professional relationship . It speaks about a couple splitting while still having a lot of sentiments one for the other.

Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonata, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and gave his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music compositions, mostly operatic, and different lyrics (the band Renaissance, Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in italian then co-wrote the english lyrics for it and is the original performer of these 2 versions. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Charice Penpengco, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKLShGCBhLGJlZY Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5eaqZaDg5KHj6s Or you can check her recent excellent renditions: - in Zagreb, late april 2024 (italian) : kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zme6gHdodt2Hiq8si=pXrU2vQ1Lrca2PTs - In London, Royal Albert Hall, with Hauser playing cello, on May 9th 2024 (english): kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5y6oYKAiZmsb8ksi=WSoA4RXiw-TMmRNv

The Norwegian Johan Vaaler invented a paper clip and patented it. He did not know that others had already invented a similar device, because it had not arrived in Norway yet. The one we use today is not the Norwegian one (which was never put into production), which, truth be told, is not as good as the one we use today, by British Gem. Norwegians have invented more advanced things that we don't have in our homes, such as the jet engine, the outboard motor for boats, the harpoon, the modern hand grenade, dyna beads and the condeep platform - but one thing we have in our houses is the computer, and it was Norwegians who invented the first object-oriented program, on which most other computer programs are based.

As forklift driver it is funny to see klaus all around in the english youtuber community for german content. Its the first splatter movie. Others have also watched this video in normal format (without stretching it). The video is for training purposes and I think it came from the employers' liability insurance association. Here in Germany, showing such content is not a problem if you invoke the right to quote as long as you categorise it and turn it into a new video with your views. But at least it would be good to link the original video, then it should be okay.

Great song, one of the best german musicians too, but for everyone who doesn't get it: it's a humanistic, satirical text. It's true and false, it's feminist and macho, the song itself is a question more or less. "wann ist man ein Mann?"- "when is someone a man?". It's art because it observes. Ofcourse it's a song that is played at parties because of it's catchiness but it definitely is "political" or let's say a serious song and not just some party banger.
