@@minh4949 no loctite and everything is still looking good. The newer kit is coming with a bigger lower bracket but I don't anticipate getting metal fatigue or anything. Defintely won't be as bad as the early FJ Cruiser fenders 😂.

@ hi there so it does actually shut down I was just impatient. Is this the only way the parking mode works on the g840h because I don’t think the boot collision recording actually works because it’s never recorded anything when my car is turned off even when someone has hit my car when parked and it never picked it up

@ probably. I have a Land Cruiser now with a Dongar module that has three modes. Accessory power only, always on (until voltage drops too low), or 3 hours and turn off.

@@StickerFab the only problem with time-lapse is that if someone was to crash why you was parked would it actually record a normal video or would it till be in time-lapse

@ with the Dongar it would be continuous record since it's keeping the mirror on. Ideally you would turn off the screen before exiting though to maximize battery life.

Just warm the vinyl up and carefully peel it off if you want to change it or remove it entirely. 👍

@@davidse4486 it wasn’t done on purpose. It was just early in the morning. I don’t feel like I have noticed any issues. Mine is mounted very high up on a fairly tall vehicle. You can turn down the screen brightness, however, if you are getting a blown out picture that probably wouldn’t help much. I guess I would also check to see if the lens is dirty as that can wash out bright light.

@@StickerFab Its too bad they did not build in a night time switch. in a standard mirror when you flip it for night time you really only see the headlamps. the same thing would be possible for a digital screen. Don't get me wrong I like the mirror it's far better than nothing. the on off switch is quick making it easy to turn off and on when it's too bright from the glare. I was thinking about mounting the camera on a magnet so I can easily move it to the top of my camper and then back to the truck when I take the camper off. I think you are correct if the camera was up high this would not be problem

Just loss of air in the rear. Covering the vents behind the seat can cause the battery to overheat and some messages to be displayed in the speedometer cluster.

Not really as the view of the curb would be blocked by the vehicle.

@@StickerFab I did the install today on my 2017 Subaru Impreza. Connectors fit perfectly as your video. Had to cut a rectangular opening in the middle of the back panel to fit the USB charger. Looks like factory. Thanks for the idea . I share for the benefit of Impreza owners.

There's no need. You can keep your vehicle stock and never change out a single thing.

It’s going to move a little bit we haven't noticed any alarming noise. We don't take our entire roof off but have had the soft top pushed all the way down.

We have a Prado standalone one as well. For this designs was trying to keep the spacing across a few different models the same. Takes too long to make new templates for everything.

250 is its true name, 250 is code word for Light Duty Land Cruiser, Just like 200 is code word for Station Wagon Land Cruiser

@ no one around the world calls land cruise prados 90s or 150s or 250s… they call them Land Cruiser prados . It carries its own pedigree apart from the series Land Cruiser. If you need to specify what era prado you’re taking about, then you pull the 250 out… like with 80/100/200/300 land cruisers. It’s kind of the difference between a Range Rover and Land Rover , sort of. And also why no one calls the new discovery “the series 5” .

@@georgetown8986 I wouldn't run a microfiber over it in a rough manner, but it'll be fine through automatic car washes. Just be easy when hand drying in that area. Pat dry etc. Shammy would be less likely to pull up an edge. I feel like I'm making the maintenance seem like a lot but it isn't.

I feel like it had turned off before if I hit the unlock or do something with the tailgate. Vaguely recall but not when using the keyless entry and opening it.
