Just put mine on today it's the one with the newer improved brackets. It made it even easier and more sturdy.

When reinstalling the hood bolt, is locktite required? Any issues with your installation so far? I also noticed that the bracket mounting to the sheet metal of the car kind of bends it when you open a close the hood. Hopefully, that doesnt cause issues in the long run.

@@minh4949 no loctite and everything is still looking good. The newer kit is coming with a bigger lower bracket but I don't anticipate getting metal fatigue or anything. Defintely won't be as bad as the early FJ Cruiser fenders 😂.
