You should check out the new Sharpie Creative paint markers. Only 12 colors right now, and they come with a brush tip like these AK markers as well as a "bullett" tip which is not the old hard useless nub -- the bullet tip is actually a bit soft and offers a little flex

@@InvisibleAvenger They seem to be a good option for primary colors but Sharpie doesn't cater to the scale model community so that's likely most of all they will release other than maybe metallics.

My local hobby shop just got these in , I was messing with some and liked how they looked. The box set is real nice . My local place is selling the set for 139 , and the individual markers for 3.99. AK is much cheap even with shipping to the states. Good review , BTW that C-10 sticker is pretty cool who makes them ?

Agreed, I just keeping finding opportunities to break them out, very handy markers. The C-10 sticker is of one of my best friends truck, I am pretty sure he had an artist render the design and possibly got the stickers from Sticker Mule where I get my stickers made.

well aren't all collectibles just pricey paperweights? I do agree though, once I can 3D print a comparable one and light it I will likely sell this on as it is a limited edition item.

The soda ingredients in the UK are different because they have a higher level of consumer awareness than America does. There was a study done on the neurological effects on stuff like artificial colors and preservatives and before it was even published, companies changed their products in anticipation of its release. Even American companies. Those same American companies altered their ingredients to be healthier for the UK market won't bother to change their ingredients for their home market because there is no pushback. Comanies like Coca-Cola lobby Congress to eradicate consumer freedoms of US citizens while they simultaneously alter their products for sale in the UK. It's insane. Some countries have even banned Yellow 5, which is actually a drug called Tartrazine.

The side pipes, gunmetal paint on the top half and the doors opening correctly (not coming out on long hinges as on the Hotwheels ones do) make the Greenlight the winner for me.

Enjoying watching your Batmobile build. Just received my first shipment this past week. I agree with your decision not to even remove the windscreen from the blister pack. Only bad things can happen if you're not ready to install it.

$1500? Holy crap.....Look at Staples and Vine on KZbin if you want one and you own a 3D printer or 2. More work....but WAAAY cheaper. And likely better quality. Especially the cockpit glass. Vacuum formed FTW and this model will include lighting.

Not as of these preview photos, licensing can be very tricky, hence why they do not say Mad Max or Interceptor in any of the marketing materials so far. I am hopeful the aftermarket will have a simple decal or dry transfer option if this ends up being the case.

Arriving a little late to the build. Thanks for lots of info on optional aftermarket parts and where to purchase. Had my kit 5 yrs. or so began working on it last year, a fair amount of brainstorming & fun and yes some fun also deciding to aftermarket or not to aftermarket. Watched Boyd Crompton's 1/350 builds up to the point, updated build where he has some health issues, where the updated build series ended. Your build is good entertainment and schooling, I listen to some of it at 1.5 normal speed which provides some comic relief (not an insult). thank you for sharing your experience! Bob T.

Thanks Bob, most people watch me in the background for the pure entertainment sometimes. Also be aware Shapeways went out of business so get on the facebook groups to see what Spaceways parts is doing to get his 3D parts into peoples hands now. Good luck with your build, it is a big undertaking.

got email from agora saying they will be emailing this week about the delays with pack 9 and 10 but not happy as took payment for pack 10 today and who knows when it will show

Peter it is frustrating but they are doing their best to get the shipments here as fast as possible and with alot of these partworks companies the billing systems are separate and on automated timers I think, your parts will come for sure, just might take a bit longer.
