Incredible! Thanks for doing this! That vertical aligned "fin" ship is my absolute favorite thing ever.
@PitstainHobbies5 ай бұрын
yeah that ship was fully scratchbuilt and is pretty damn amazing.
@jasoncaldwell56275 ай бұрын
@@PitstainHobbies Do you know the builder? I'd love to see his other work and some closeup stills of this ship! It looks very "Star Wars" in a good way- reminding me of the Mandalorian transport Coronet from The Clone Wars and the vertical ship from Solo too!

Well done buddy! Obviously the lines on the sides of the canopy are what did it. :) Two tanks too (or 1 tank (Merkava), 1 tank destroyer (Hellcat)).
@PitstainHobbies6 ай бұрын
Totally the canopy lines LOL, and there were a few tanks Mate, they were all very nice.
@relentlesstorm6 ай бұрын
I saw the tanks too! There was a third near the end though technically it is an APC.

@@relentlesstorm Yes I didn't count Ian's contribution or the Warhammer or whatever "future tank" thing.

I went in not really expecting much as the judges at WF are pretty strict.

I was wondering what that guy was up to with spraying that Enterprise around the 13 minute mark until I realized that he was revealing phasers emitting from the front of it! Neat stuff. Thanks for sharing. I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit Wonder Fest back in '16 when I worked for Aoshima. I haven't been back to America since then.
@PitstainHobbies6 ай бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it Steve, I didn't even know about the photography canned fog until I saw that can. Working for Aoshima is pretty cool!
@stevethefishdotnet6 ай бұрын
@@PitstainHobbies Actually, it was a disappointment to work at Aoshima. There was a rather crappy business manager I had to deal with. He killed everyone's joy and I was one of many people who quit in short order. Fortunately, that guy is no longer around. I tried to get a line of Alien/Aliens models started, but their enthusiasm did not match mine. When that fell apart, I knew that it wasn't worth the abuse, so I went back to teaching and am making better money. Then later Plamax made that lone Ripley Power Loader model.
@PitstainHobbies6 ай бұрын
@@stevethefishdotnet Shame to hear that about Aoshima, anyone not enthusiastic about Aliens models is not worth the time.

I almost didn't even post the video as I am so fed up with how bad the "STEADY SHOT" is on this camera, looks like I will be getting the new DJI gimbal cam for next year.
