In my opinion, a problem of this is how it's an entire thousand years into the future, and yet there are people speaking from 1600 to our present, without any vocab replacing others, no phonetic changes, just nothing, it's just American English Personally, I think that if they could make a Germanic-sounding conlang, then they really should've atleast tried to make changes to English, and made it even sound familiar yet foreign I really think that they could've got to made some form of immersing the player into trying to learn a simple language (with the same basic grammar English has, of course), kind of like Chants of Sennaar

I always wondered how blitzball players and members of the party like rikku can all hold their breath for hours or are they able to breath under water? Its the only thing that baffles me in logic with this game even though it is my all time favorite FF game

Which I feel like is sometimes the case yes to have that passion from the start, yet it’s an unrealistic standard as most of the time you really don’t know what you are getting into till you start doing it.

DQ was the big boy in the late 80s in Japan for RPGs. For perspective, DQ3 originally came out around the same time as FF2 (nes). FF3 (nes) was very much inspired by this game and borrowed many of the features it established. Playing one will definitely prepare you for the other

from the ghost fire bosses that will anger you if you cant keep up with call for help system to the town in need of a merchant. the merchant thing drove me mad trying to figure it out. here is a hint. Pattys party place may be of help.

There is something i want to recommand. The Elder wyrm in the Golrom jungle is optional you do not need to fight him you can get to the parma rift viva south short visit to the forest in the south which leads back to the parma rift. Since i imagen that fight can be really really awfule in a attack only challenge I just want to inform you if you road block by him you can come back to him later. Since status protect gear is hard to come by at this point of the game. Also it avoid the need to grind just to get pass him. Another thing would be to look into gear that give postive status equiment for example. You can do now the side quest with the flower cactus which give you access to the norht side of the dalmasca eastersand there is a treasue chest with berserker greaver which will come very in handy for this typ of challange and is 100% even so easy to pick up. Since bersker give attack speed boost and damage boost. i would give these to Bathiler since with his gun he ignore defense and so big number but be carful against flans and ghost. the resist gun damage.

Yeah I do wonder if instead choosing to only use autolife on two members and getting lucky with full life is better. Even with Life you get 49k health which is enough to survive Ultra Spark for a turn than a full wipeout on autolife bringing everyone back.

I don’t know why I chose to pass on this game. I think I had too many other games I wanted to play so put this aside. I wish I did play it because I think I would have loved it. Glad you covered it. It is not often I watch a play though of a game I haven’t played. I usually watch stuff I have completed just to see how other people play the game and compare it to how I played it. Fantastic job. I thoroughly enjoyed your play through and your thoughts.

One thing you could try is making a character a Red Battlemage. This job has some physical capability and also learns healing magick, which would let you cure between battles without consuming potions.

I do enjoy the longer videos especially when there's a lot of strategy and experimentation involved in tougher boss fights. I'm really curious to see how the later bosses are going to defeated.

If you talk to the guy with the red short and no shirt right before you leave the island he gives you a seeker ring for yuna and it gives her 10% hp

Obviously I know you probably won't read this and if you do you're way past here anyway.....but especially in a playthrough like this one where you can't steal, it's really not a bad idea at all to spend time trying to get gear from chests. Especially if one is going to follow a guide, looking at maps for the upgrades to get for free can save so much money. Hell 18K is better spend right around this point to get the Hunter's Monograph as the long term gains way outweigh the initial purchase. As for skipping stuff....wonder if Elder Wyrm will be skipped....

The sped-up solo All-Out Brawl with Lulu was the best thing I'd seen all week

i did this challenge myself using your ruleset, because this is my favorite ff game, and i found the challenge to be fairly easy, at least for the main game but i think you could also manage to do most of the hunts without too much hassle. i did however use different classes because i dont like the classes you chose for this challenge, though i think you'll be fine even with you class choices. vaan-shikari fran-monk balthier-ulahn bashe-knight ashe-bushi penelo-archer the classes i used were very adept to simply dps every boss down quickly and have a lot of natural survivability, this was honestly one of the easiest challenge ive done in this game. hope you have fun finishing the challenge yourself and i'll be interested in seeing what you do to overcome certain things to come later in the game.

I might be the only one, but I feel like I could watch 25 episodes of this lol Given that you can swap out characters (most of the time) and their equipment in the middle of the fight gives 12 a little more of a dynamic feel compared to the other ones so far

You talk about the Diamond Armlet and I absolutely see your point in using it for the lightning immunity, but youll have to remember to remove it constantly before you open chests, except a small amount of them, or all youll get is Knots of Rust....

You can get those gold armlets to respawn super easy at this area to get multiples
