The part when Bastila looks at Revan and he shakes his head no is sooo freaking evil.

I used to think the Darkside would be the better ending to choose. But ironically enough, making a gameplay composed with half of the game's Darkside options actually made choosing the Lightside ending feel far more rewarding. I felt like I was creating the proto-Separatist movement. I was filled with pride. Still, in the second game, I'm gonna say I was a Darksider, because I think half the choices I made would make lots of people distrustful of me, twisting my story a little. That, and I think my Revan is more prone to let his old persona out, even after leaving the Sith behind, so I imagine I had more company when going to the Unknown Regions. Thank you One for giving me your army. Me and my companions will use it well.

At first I was too weak to kill Mission. Then my second dark side play through I had that foolish Wookiee cut her down, then killed him along with the rest of those worthless companions. It was hard to take out Juhani. She had proved herself very useful in battle.

Sweet Jesus, I can't believe this was part of the game. I was never brave enough to go crazy with my lines, but it was kind of hilarious how furious Fortunate Puzzle was getting and how hard he was trying to salvage the lines

I love Darth Bastila, she's proof that everything is not as it seems, I don't know many characters that would suit dark side skin bleaching, Darth Bastila has it along with blue eyes, which is her default without mods, so probably canon too confirmed, she is extremely decent, but I admit she is no less angry than a Darth Vader, she is really the embodiment of the fact that everything is not as it seems, if I were to take Darth Bastila as a separate character, she is as full of anger as she is beautiful So my opinion on her is probably like this. Bastila is extremely powerful, an all-powerful entity. And Bastila Shan is beautiful, well, she got a little sick from the stress, turned dark and became Darth Bastila, but she's still beautiful. But shh, don't tell Bastila that if you look under her mask she's so cute, who are we to make fun of, who knows how she's not the worst character from KOTOR because she dictates what you should do. The comparison to Vader was an exaggeration for fun, she's not that far on the dark end of the spectrum, but she's still full of rage anyway, except she's kind of like, whose "credit" is it anyway? What a theory like that in the heads of the characters. : When Revan, Malak, later Darth Malak, and Valcorion first meet, Valcorion would say/think in his head, "I can control Revan and Malak like this, but the Old Republic, the very old Republic, still has the Bastila and they could give, what if she can decide battles and wars with her battle meditation, I don't like it, I'll punish those two on the republic, so that she has no choice but to use dominant mind and hack into her mind from a distance until she's not paying attention." Actually, I'm just kidding, I don't know how Valcorion would know about her, but that would be, again, Valcorion would be to blame for everything, he would probably be responsible for the whole story. But actually getting sick from stress in such a way that according to the video of Darth Bastila she saw double, was panaroid and had visions, I guess I'll call her a Sith lord of stress, in the sense of distress.

I do believe the beginning of KOTOR 2 only makes sense through the dark side ending of KOTOR 1. Well, obviously, the developers of KOTOR 1 didn't know what the sequel would be, but after Revan has returned to the dark side at the end of KOTOR 1, we can imagine that he spent a few additional months/years to kill the surviving Jedi, but that he felt this "threat" at the edge of the galaxy -which finally explains his departure and the start of KOTOR 2 where the Republic is going to be destroyed. And the sith of Kotor 2 (Darth Sion + Darth Nihilus) are present because they have been attracted by the revival of the dark side, which had become more powerful following Revan's return as a Sith Lord. Honestly, I don't and cannot see how we can go from the classic "happy ending" of the 1st Kotor (Revan saving the Republic and the Jedi order) to the very dark beginning of Kotor 2 : The Sith Lords. Even if the other ending (Revan's redemption) may please to fans of happy endings, it is really the dark side ending of KOTOR 1 which explains why Kotor 2 is so dark and why its begins is like that (with the sith returning, the Republic on the verge of collapse and the Exile chased by everyone). Well, I'm sorry but, for me, Revan relapsing to the dark side is the "real" end of KOTOR 1 (at least, if we want it to hold up with KOTOR 2), whether it's canon or not.

The irony is that in the game's context, the Dark Side ending is arguably the good ending. He unites the galaxy against the Sith and, if I remember correctly his intention was basically to self-destruct his Empire in order to restore the Republic and Jedi. Or he continues his campaign until he's satisfied of the Republic's strength and then lures them out to the Sith Empire by feigning retreat and turns on the Sith during the Republic's invasion to destroy both his followers and the true Sith at the same time. This seems logical, given the reason why he's fighting the Republic is to keep them on their toes and he didn't actually intend to win in the first place. It was basically a false flag operation and the Star Forge finished the Emperor's mind-fuck too much to resist. Now, he's free of the Emperor's mind-fuck and only has to deal with the Star Forge.

I feel like that is WAY too small of a crowd to generate that kind of cheering

I played it as dark side to get all the skills then light at the end to keep everyone alive and save bastila in the last moment. Dark side powers are just so much better. Force storm OP

honestly the dark side ending is canon in my heart especially with the fact that you were taken advantage of this whole time by jedi and now you must relearn everything that made you special and feel rewarded when your back to your dark lord status

i love this ending cause of the dymanic it shows between Revan and Malak, Malak claimed throughout his reign that he earned his title of dark lord of the sith but this was just him trying to reasure himself that he was the rightful ruler, despite the fact that he shot revan in the back this ending shows Malak was not only weaker then the original revan, but his betrayal made Revan stronger, Revan mocks Malak by saying he's going to teach him one final lesson before killing him

Carth was able to elude revan and bastila on beach only to pull up to star forge. Dude could of slipped away

Man. Even when joining the dark side Bastila still talks again and again. Does she ever stop talking? She’s had the most dialogue in the game compared to Carth and Canderous. That’s one of the reasons why I don’t like her. Another reason is that she is so restraint on the Jedi code. So much so when Malak tortured her, he saw the black dark side kernel in her heart. It was all that was holding her back to becoming a sith. Shame really. I wanted to kiss her let alone how pretty she is, and charming I have been, but I just couldn’t. Malak would lure out a weakness within Revan and Bastila. Whoever thought Bastila feels right at home with the Star forge? Whoever knew she would be worse than Malak?

I still love the loyalty that Canderous have for us because we are Revan. He doesn’t care about the political or which side of the force that we are on he is just always loyal to you no matter what.

I remember on my second playthrough, I purposely chose the obvious Dark Side Points decisions. And it was kinda hilarious how crazy you can get with it. It was like they made it too obvious how easy it was to make poor decisions.

What I really want to know is where Carth ended up after running away. Presumably still stuck on that planet, but at least every other lost companion had an on-screen death. I mean I liked him and in my playthrough as a female Revan I was able to romance him so I've always had a soft spot for the guy, but I'd like to know what everyone's fates were. Only the beach scene and about 50% of the Star Forge are when you get to see them up until the ending, and they only show up in the background of the light side ending, with Bastila appearing alone in the dark side ending
