I like how the way the movie takes it's time to express the emotions of the moment. whether the moment was about music, movement(dance) and the expressions on their faces. very real.

It's great how much you can understand even only knowing a little asl, and even though Lauter is hearing, I think he does a really great job portraying a deaf character and I love how expressive he is. especially with that sort of 'oh yeah' thing he does when ansel is like yeah that spin is easy

hello! why did this just get recommended to me now?? this film was amazing and there was clearly alot of heart and soul and research for positive representation put into this. this film is beautiful, inclusive, and tells and amazing story and i love the characters. honestly going forward there should be more stuff like this. but fr you and the team did a great job making this 💙

I come back to this short film every year or so, ever since I saw it for the first time all those years ago. It’s crazy how much these characters have stayed with me even after all this space and time. You guys did an incredible job, this is so beautiful.
