Love the rack. I have two very large industrial racks in my kitchen that I store crockpots and other misc. appliances on. One holds bottled waters, juices, misc. drinks & snacks. Love this idea for fruits & veggies, perfect!

Regardless how the lure is set it's potent no matter what, just make sure the bag is set right and straighten the top edges, also the bag's middle part is rather narrow so check your traps to make sure it hasn't clogged. These traps are amazing, I had beetles flying in as soon as I set it up, I'm gonna follow with milky spore in the fall to try and contain this pest.

You did a great job showing how to assemble the Japanese Beetle Trap, except you put the lure on incorrectly. The exposed side of the lure is supposed to be facing INWARD with the tab at the top slightly bent inward to protect the lure from the rain...

Do you notice much bycatch? Like are you catching bees in there too? If so are they rare to see in the trap?

I've actually only seen Japanese beetles in my traps. Never bees or other pollinators. They work great. 🙂👍

I have foxtail ferns or asparagus ferns, not sure, that had red “berries” on them. I plucked them off and let then dry out. Inside each one was a black seed. I planted them and they came up! It took awhile and I almost gave up but they grew these tiny “ferns” and I’m hoping they will continue to grow. Great ideas in this video.

I usually check the soil daily. If it looks dry, I water. I don't let the soil dry out. If it feels moist, I don't water.
