I'm Not Buying Seeds | Ways To Get Free Seeds!

Every October Dollar General has a clearance on all thier seeds because they are about expired, I get them for 5 cents a pack and I have boxloads of vegetable and flower seeds. I plant seasonal flowers AND vegetables year round in Florida. I'll collect the seeds from the garden and flower beds. I don't pay hardly anything to have beautiful flowers and vegetables constantly.

I have foxtail ferns or asparagus ferns, not sure, that had red “berries” on them. I plucked them off and let then dry out. Inside each one was a black seed. I planted them and they came up! It took awhile and I almost gave up but they grew these tiny “ferns” and I’m hoping they will continue to grow. Great ideas in this video.

Great idea, I purchased the plastic sleeves and started putting it together today. Is there a trick to keep the open seed packs from spilling out the seeds?

Great! I just fold the seed packet over, that seem to work for me. You could probably place a paperclip on it also, to ensure it stays closed. Thanks Ronald🙂
