People are harsh on Jeffrey but I actually think his performance is perfect. I like John Patridge too don’t get me wrong, but the character is supposed to be a huge mess Marilyn is written as a drug addicted no talent mess I mean in the song guttersnipe Marilyn even sings to George, “you’ve got the voice” and let’s face it the real Marilyn didn’t have a voice anywhere near as good as George’s. I don’t know enough about the real Marilyn to know if they were anything like this other than that they didn’t seem to have much vocal talent, but as the character was written I think this is a perfect portrayal and I do think Jeffrey should get some credit for it. It’s not easy to go on giving your best Lindsay Lohan impression each night lol

The show itself is amazing, but the audience is SO ANNOYING whenever this particular song pays. Seriousy, people, STOP CLAPPING TO THE BEAT!!! THIS ISN'T A CONCERT! And from the POV of the people on stage, it's VERY distracting.

After years of watching this, It NEVER gets old! I can't help but laugh! It makes my day everytime I see it!

I watched the entire US stage version on youtube a year ago and I've been in love ever since. The poster (just random letters and numbers) had a big cache of musicals all labeled things like "part #" with no title to avoid getting deleted, but they're all gone now. There is no official US cast recording or DVD, online searches for amateur video recordings yield nothing, and the fact I've even seen it in the first place is starting to feel like having seen a ghost... But it was a wonderful show!
