this was the BEST song in the whole show, it was hysterical live. i wish it was still on broadway, it rocked!!!

the people commenting "she can't sing" need to learn what a comedic acting choice is :')
@lindapoplin99615 жыл бұрын
Exactly not all actresses have to sing it beautifully i love what she does with the part she plays it her own way
@BethDiane Жыл бұрын
Clearly she can and is choosing not to. Presumably at the request of the director, which also means she's a good sport.

If you listen to her right at the end you’ll hear her actual amazing singing voice. The “bad” is comedic relief ya fools.

It’s talent when you can sing bad when you sing well

They were the most amazing part of this production!! They were priceless! All the choices that Jan Maxwell and Marc Kudisch made were totally right for the parts!

I saw this show a long time ago and the only things I remember are the car flying over the audience and the child catcher in the net flying over the audience....i don't remember this but this was really funny!

I miss her so much. So much talent. If they ever bring this back, Bebe Neuwirth would be amazing.

to musicaldudepeter: i am sure that she is doing it properly. because the director wouldn't have told her to do it if it hurt. she is just doing what her director wants her to do.

i wish there were more clips of this show on you tube. it was soooo good and the london one wasn't as good as this one

Ahahaha! The expressions on their faces killed me. They're both great actors. :3

I agree-- in the film, the action of the Baron trying to kill his wife counter-played the song's lyrics so well. They should've kept that approach.

I think they tried to sub in the notion about her being a terrible singer instead. Was probably funnier live

You know the funniest thing ever? When I saw the show in June of 2005, I wasn't sure whether the part @ 3:45-4:10 was actually part of the show, or if she was really acting that way. XD

I saw this production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Marc Kudisch was great as the Baron.

It's so weird, but in the best possible sense, to see Marc Kudisch doing something were he can just have fun. I'm so used to thinking of him as the dark bad guy. Not that he isn't the bad guy in this, but he gets to let loose here. Yay!
