Had an idea for a PC with the end game goal of becoming a Mummy Lord. LG human cleric of Kelemvor the God of death and the afterlife, parents were killed by a necromancer and kelemvor answered his prayers while he was hiding. Kelemvor promised to bring him to the afterlife with his parents if he serves him as his chosen priest with the primary goal of killing intelligent undead as they represent an affront to the natural cycle of life and death. And ofc the best way to take down immortal intelligent undead is to be one yourself, so at Lv 20 the PC and his followers he gathered through his career enact the ritual to be a mummy lord, finish it up with a use of divine intervention to have Kelemvor bless the ritual and BAM Lv 20 mummy lord cleric of death

I like to combine all or most of the Shadar Kai lore: they are mostly 5e with the the earlier adrenaline/pain junkies to keep their soul connected to their physical body. It’s just more interesting to play than the 5e personalities. They’re also elves cause I love elves. In my mind, most faithfully serve the RQ though a few view her as selfish and power hungry esp in the holding onto their souls and search for magic objects. As for the RQ, I like to use all or parts of her lore and no one, but the gods themselves know which version is true as they erased most knowledge of that ascension to avoid it happening again. I also like the idea that she hates undeath because she covets that domain as the gods ripped that from her as she coalesced into her godhood.

As an Egyptian let me shed some more light on the Osiris-Isis myth. In the beginning there was Geb God if Earth and Nut Goddess of the sky. They were siblings and mates. Their offsprings were Osiris, Set, Isis and Nephtys. They were Gods not rulers. Osiris and Isis were wed, so were Set and Nepthys. Set was sterile so Nephthys disguised herself as Isis and slept with Osiris because she wanted to conceive. She bore Anubis. Set sought revenge when he discovered this. The rest of your story is fairly accurate.
