Es wird zur Zeit doch genug Schei...in den Nachrichten gebracht. Wichtig Spektakulär, denn dann hat man auch viel zumSchreiben und man kann viele Spezials und Sondersendungen bringen. Deshalb sollte man von solchen Sachen einfach mal die Finger lassen und nicht kalten Kaffee wieder aufwärmen. Ist natürlich nur meine persönliche Meinung.

Das kann ich mir auch nicht vorstellen, dass das jemand gut findet, wenn junge Menschen sinnlos radioaktiver Strahlung ausgesetzt werden. Ausser Edward Teller, dem Vater der Wasserstoffbombe, gibt es auch nicht allzuviele, die das verharmlosen.

this part of the capital Sana'a is called old Sana'a. The houses are 1000 years old and there are 9000 of them, but now in 2015 saudi arabia destroyed 4000 of those incredible buildings and houses.

Nice pictures ! I visited Yemen 7 times since 2007, I confirm that some of your pictures could be taken today without any differences. Yemen is one of these countries which 40 years later you see the same scenery. I like a lot Yemen, I wish the country will go through a reconciliation process including north and south, this country is so beautiful and people with a so great hospitality.

@@brittalbach416 I have always traveled by car with guide and driver or driver only. No problem if you are dressed properly -wide pants and wide tunic -legs and arms covered-. Always been to the tourist police in Sana'a to check the ride before departure.

Yes I agree with you. I have my travel video in Sanaa, called Once Upon a Time in Yemen. It still looks the same as these photos. The buildings, people, etc.. amazing

Oh yes. Look at the fotos at 1'09 in Sana'a and at 3'32 in Amran. I was surprised that in Tai'zz women were selling khat, left foto 4'32.

I had the same idea when I saw videos from Sana'a here on YT. More paved roads and streetlights, more souvenirshops for tourists. To my surprise these videos show more women dressed in black than in 1974.
