Why would you fast play this? What am I missing? Was it a joke?

I just ordered cork fabric. The print is beautiful, BUT the fabric is very thin and almost see through. There is no backing. Should I even try it for bag or wallet? Can i add a backing? I am fairly new to sewing and I really like the cork idea. Will i need to purchase cork fabric from another source?

What happens when you are out in very hot weather. Will it start melting. I want to make a passport holder and was wondering if it is a very hot summer day will the wax spill out onto the passport, or a purse, will the wax come on to the contents of the items inside the bag?

Wonderful video. I learned a lot and don’t have to worry about ruining my project from the get-go. My cork fabric is from Spain and from your description, it seems of good quality. It doesn’t feel dry but is quite stretchy in one direction like reg fabric. It’s nicely flexible. I’m it using to make placemats. One thing you didn’t mention was pre washing. My guess is that I don’t have to. Is that the case? I’ve read that it is washable but the water temp should be 90 degrees F or cooler. Please help. Cathy

Way too fast. Even slowing down playback speed to 0.25 wasn’t enough to be helpful…

do you need a special needle for the sewing machine?

I'm not sure how you are stopping the waxes canvas from fraying in the one you just fold to the centre?

I watch SewGnar all the time and Nicole has helpful tips too. Yours did explain more on the difference between cork which is extremely helpful!!! Will you be getting any printed cork in?

Love your videos I moved to Georgia, and they have a Cork Store they sell cork fabric for floors, walls and what nots for the home. Went to Joanns they had Cork . what is the best weight for cork to sew.

Are you expecting to get this wax back in stock any time soon? Also I have seen people mix/melt paraffin and beeswax in a tiny crockpot to keep it warm while working with it. Then paint it on and iron. Let it set etc to wax virgin canvas. Can you do that with this wax by cutting chunks off of the bar and melting it all the way instead of partially like in your video?

what do you use for the clear 'window' section of the wallet

I've had this pattern gor over 5 years and just made two! I too get ahead of myself and don't always read through the instructions. I did't know I was to top stitch. I just did it. I don't remember how other than to say I made my machine into open arm and stitched one side before stitching the other side panel on and top stitched it. Not much help , huh. Thanks for the vid!
