Super easy and quick. One weird issue with my VF Chevy SS: after flashing the Mylink to Holden red, when the radio turns on it'll show the red theme, but when I use satellite radio the 'Now Playing' screen starts out red and quickly turns back to blue.

In the config on the mylink there is settings for the XM album art and that needs to be disabled

This one has been a popular request to be added in, there is vehicle that have cat back exhausts fitted and don't want to pay for a tune or $800 plus for tuning software's, using OBDSync its done for $200

@@OBDSync that is fair, the average user for sure, I however use hp, and unless one wants a dyno, i do a generic tune and look at the VVE, make minor adjustments and move on and thats around to 200 mark, cos i done so many, i dont pay licencing for any ve anymore on a side note, I think I want to move over to EFi Live

Correct me if I am wrong but this programming is not needed in the 11-13 models. Many have reported the tap shifting from the 9C3 shifter works fine just wiring it up with no programming . It however does not display on the Cluster. Would this programming change that?

For the shifter to work as per a 9c3 with the side movement to go into sports mode rather than the separate sports button and for the gear display to operate, The TCM and IPC require programming together

What’s the bumper DRL option do? & can the remote windows down option be configured for just the front windows?

The Lower Bumper DRL is the lower LED DRL light in the front bumper. And the windows down from key FOB will only do all 4 windows.

Only available on the 2014-2017 Holden VFs Instrument Cluster, Chevrolet SS and Caprice PPV. Unfortunately not available for the 2011-2013 PPVs.

Yes this can be used for series 1 to series 2 radio upgrades. This video is actually on a series 1 car with a series2 radio fitted. Hope that helps!

Hello. I just received obdsync and I am new to any of this. I need some clarification. Do I plug the flash drive into the computer to download the update for the radio then (once the radio is fitted with usb ) I plug in the flash drive into the radio usb? Is there a tutorial on how to source a usb for the radio and how to install it on the radio? Thanks!

At the 55second mark of this video, this is where the required files are downloaded onto the thumbdrive which is connected to your laptop. After you have downloaded the files to the thumbdrive, you can plug that USB into the radio straight away (Or you can wait until requested by the radio). We just plug the thumbdrive into the Radios USB port straight away and then click the Proceed button.

Does this only clear the instrument warning, or does it clear the whole restriction for 130km+ when MRC is damaged/replaced/removed?

This demonstration is for disabling the warning off the instrument cluster, it does not remove the speed limiter restriction. The speed limiter restriction can be removed from either the Body Control Module (BCM) or the Engine Control Module (ECM) which we have rolling out in an update soon.

@@stevew9563 The LED taillight prevents all the warnings appearing when the vehicle is expecting halogen lights from factory.

@@OBDSync - AH OK that makes sense, those warning do come up. NICE. I plan on doing some wiring for adding the wires for the Rear Separate turn signals in the LED tails for the 2014+ cars. If you guys ever implement that. When you do if you could confirm what BCM cavityies the Signal will come out in that would help. I assume it would be the same as the Chevrolet SS??

I bought a stolen recovered Holden VE, I then bought a security kit from ebay. The kit includes BCM, KEY, COMPUTER, IGNITION LOCK & KEY READER. The car now starts but the stereo displays a vehicle mismatch. Can I use your tool to change the vin number on each of the replacement part? Can your tool be used to copy the BCM data form one module to another in case the colour doesn't match eg the rpelacement module is Gray the original is Green

Transmission temperature appears to only be supported in the non colour screen (black and white) instrument clusters.

Skip to 52seconds into this video, it shows the popup box where it downloads the update to a Thumbdrive (USB Stick). After that, you plug the Thumbdrive into the radios USB cable (MUst have a USB cable fitted) and finally click the Proceed button in the software to start the update.

Exactly what we think as well! Holden (or GM) only wanted specific features available on each vehicle. Which is why our custom programming is giving everyone the ability to unlock them, along with custom items never advertised from factory!

Required tokens for each module can be found on our product page: obdsync.com/product/obdsync-suite/ At this stage, you can change the theme/logo of the Mylink Radio, but we have not added the option to change the theme in the colour screen instrument clusters yet (its in development currently). You can still make various other changes in the clusters.

Think of it as a more user friendly yet advanced system that allows you to configure options for your vehicle. GMs factory system does not allow this, and will only ever allow you to program the options that are required for that vehicle for factory. Using OBDSync, you now have the option to change various features. Our up coming BCM programming option is a perfect example of providing heaps of possible upgrades by allow anyone to do upgrades such as paddle shift, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a bunch of other options.
