For all the good times past, thank heavens for the Conwy tunnel cos the Traffic jams thru Conwy in either direction were the stuff of nightmares!!

Most of these pubs are turned into flats or supermarkets now tragic!! The cricketers Old Ford road right next to the regents canal great pub

Pubs had their own vibes and identities a little more characterfully than they do now..... in my humble opinion.... and they were part of life.... loads of them, going out, grab a pub meal at lunch, passing by a pub, sit in their ambience for an hour with a drink, wherever you were in London.. history was there.... then they updated them, then they closed most of them

Amazing footage of old England, the days when we had decorum, manners and a culture, No look at England, a filthy cesspit of drugs, guns, stabbings and a fifty shades of black, Goodbye Englanbd we shall miss you !!

Funny to read of people waxing poetic about the 70s. Times are different for everyone of course. They were a lousy time for me but every era is either good for bad depending on the person's situation. These videos are fun to watch either way.

Loverly days. All destroyed now by traitors in our own governments. It’s like a third world shit hole now thank to traitors giving our country away to the third world. It’s a stinking toilet now. In one generation it’s become unrecognisable. England is finished because of immigration. Enock Powell was right about it.

I think the ferry the footage is filmed from is Townsend Thoresen's Viking Victory (ex Viking I). There's a brief shot a few seconds in of her identical sister arriving in Sealink colours as Earl William (ex Viking II), then several Sealink Isle of Wight ferries, including the car ferry Cuthred.

Shame what Exeter has turned into now. Violent crime, drugs and over population with a rotten council that is more focused on making money. Exeter is my home town, I was born here 50 years ago and I am ashamed of what it has become.

And was every day sunny back then? 😃 I'm sure many of those pubs were filmed on the same day, particularly all the Islington ones, but to have such great weather throughout makes me believe the summers were so much better back then........
