Wow, this brings back so many memories. I lived in Penperlleni at that time and used to spend a lot of time up at the canal, fishing with my old man, and occasionally renting a day boat, or just hanging out. And I went to school at KHS in Abergavenny so that's all really familiar territory. Would love to see more if you have any.
