4 things can make deepwoken better : 1 - making mantras focus in support, not attack. 2 - reduce pve scale, 3 - make npcs and mobs alive, like making them have a rotine or something more alive, like world of magic(roblox): in this abandoned game the npcs sleep, work, eat, chat with others, walk arround and die for a lot of reasons. here we have a problems, the deepwoken npcs are fix, they cant be replaced all week, so, make more sense deepwoken being a singleplayer experience.... 4- focus in another mechanics, like fishing, mining, exploring and gathering the lore knowledge. and just more opnion: this game turned into a shit when u can kill a sharko just with 3 hits, the monsters are not suposed to be feared and beaten by groups ?

aged like wine conquest delayed because they cant find ways to make it enjoyable most des have moved on to cursed gear which is gonna stay CC forever probably no talk of reducing particles and theyve made them worse and no talk of releasing an version of deepwoken legendaries/relics are cheap like candy and enchants are worthless the game is cooked. literally every build in chime rn either uses alloyed stone katana, bladeharper, attunmentless/frostdraw, or all of the above. there is no build diversity in chime anymore

I know this is late, but honestly, the single biggest thing for me was the way you takedown an enemy. I played week 1 Deepwoken, but dropped it after everyone started killing each other. You can see in some of the old testing footage, but what used to happen was a simple, quick, throat slit. It's simple, but it's perfect. But now, it's literally a whole ass Dark Souls backstab. It feels powerful, sure, but it's so out of place. I really don't like it.

yeah no the variety in chime is nonexistent i fought 4 railblade silenthearts in a row to then fight a build straight up stripped from youtube (the same exact build to some guy who did the katana ice build) its at this point not adapt to the player but adapt to their build because on longer meta that starts to work better 😭

Chime player criteria: legendary weapon, contractor, obfuscation/stone enchanted medium weapon. Literally did not run into a single person who didn’t have at least one of the three the other day it’s so miserable

dw devs really fumbled the direction of the game since release, verse 1 we had a dying world with interesting storylines set up that could be expanded upon, and then they completely went off the rails with anime shit instead if continuing the world's story, didnt like 200+ years pass in deep? no npcs changed, the best development we got on etrea is maestro bossfight, hive are still doing nun (you're telling me these mfs havent invented ANYTHING in 200 years??), my patience ran out when the pyrekeeper released, that bladeball ass weapon killed my last hope for the game's direction and identity
