So many inconsistencies in this show. At the beginning the guy brings home a small package and says it's his Christmas gift for his wife. Then throughout the show the maid keeps telling him he needs to get a gift for his wife. They say the maid makes her gifts but yet she's spending all her money on a gift for the wife. Just stupid.

As an adult, I can understand why Aunt Agnes desperately wants full custody of Billy. It’s because, she doesn’t want to spend Christmas alone, no one does

TBH, now that I watched the Weekenders, whenever I hear Tish, all I hear is little Annabelle and that's honestly the cutest thought. (They're both voiced by Kath Soucie ofc)

The Baxter’s lived in mt vernon. Taking information of clues given in different episodes… they lived where the trees were George Washington cut down his father‘s cherry tree was their park ~ and they travel 300 miles to visit the natural Bridge in Virginia- Google maps put it at 303 miles from Mount Vernon~ my his home is now preserved by the historic preservation act on the other side of the river, is called Widewater .. It was owned by my cousin Mary Cary ~ I won’t give out the last name because I’ve been asked by other relatives not to but I played in that house when I was a little kid and I was fortunate enough to have my children visited and right before Mary Carey passed my grandchildren. Also were able to see the inside of the home which was preserved exactly how her father and grandfather furnished it. My favorite was the nearly floor to ceiling mirror/ and all of them mahogany wood furniture- and of course, going outside and walking right across the railroad tracks to the Potomac river and being able to see the infamous statue that sits there

I'm Facebook friends with the actress who voiced young Emily. She also voiced Ducky for most of the Land before Time sequels and the TV show.

I watched this movie with my parents and then my children and now my grandchildren! It's a generational movie for the kid in us all! On many levels part of you want to believe and would fight anyone who didn't believe 😂 it's definitely a movie to treasure. Isn't it funny how this movie is "one of those I do believe" movie 🍿 Forever saving Christmas for us all! 💓🙏🏼

I am charmed by Billy Gray's interview where he says the FKB bunch were not a real family off screen but acting professionals under the strict rule of producer Eugene B Rodney. Except for.... Jane Wyatt! While they do seem like the odd couple offscreen, Jane Wyatt took a real liking to Billy, taking him under her wing to attend the theater, events about town, everything. And that wiseacre teenager, Bud, was happy to go! Billy raves about what a wonderful person Jane Wyatt was saying that at one point she asked him to be a pallbearer at her funeral. This is surprising and touched me in a special way.

I am such a terrible person as in these situation comedy reunion movies I find i don't give a whit about the offspring of the characters we once knew and loved as children themselves.Do I care about Betty's "Ellen"? I should but I don't. Bud's son? No. I believe Beaver Cleaver has a son named Oliver. Ugh. So wrong of me but these contemporary over cute cliche moppets out of central casting look so wrong to me in the restored 1950s homes of the different series.
@garywarmee4367Ай бұрын
Oh, my goodness. Thuis reunion special is bringing back the horror of Aunt Nieva. ("What truly is the greatest gift?) I can't believe they remembered! However this this TV movie turns out it has a thumbs up from me for this incredible look back! Aunt Nieva: A misunderstood Halloween witch, but it all turned out alright in the end to move me!

WOW!! Hazel must REALLY like Mrs. Baxter - that dresser set is worth $475 in 2024 money! I haven't spent that much on ONE Christmas present for anyone I know EVER in 64 years on this earth!

Shirley Booth was a very underrated actress, I saw her in a movie where she played a dedicated wife to a failed husband. She was perfect for the part, I don't remember the name. Tku for post.
