A group of friends and I went to a maze this weekend. Not even 5 minutes in, half the group started cutting through the corn. Why bother going if you're just going to cheat? This was a group of people in their 50s and 60s too.

Selling old clothes will only make you need to buy new clothes. Standing still on the side of cold toronto streets isnt everyones gig. Just a simple backpack wouldve been just fine instead of buying that big delivery bag or a toothbrush and toothpaste(who really does that?) That first order damage couldve been saved with a smaller size bag. Now tell us how much was that lens really for?
Yay for the video and showing how a bunch of those side hustles are either just scams or at least feel like scams because your upfront (and operating) costs are so damn high. Buuuut, I think those three financial tips were pretty useless. Budgeting, okay, maybe that can help some. But if you have to live with net zero profit or close to that, you have nothing to invest and therefore nothing to increase your income with. Saying "go for a different job/career and learn by literally studying in the (hopefully free) library or pursuing a degree in a better paying field" would be a thousand times more helpful. Especially when it comes to IT or game dev where you can literally land a job by just learning stuff from youtube videos and being really persistent in building up your skills. On the contrary, Steph's and Den's advice was more like "Be born to wealthy parents or have wealthy and sharing friends 🫠"

game dev bit is debatable atm💀
@Crotaro5 күн бұрын
@@Koda-404 True, I'll give you that. But you don't need to be a dev under a big publisher. I get the feeling that most people who say "Games are so bad these days" barely take a look at any game that isn't made by a typical AAA studio. But but, granted, being a "true indie dev" doesn't always easily pay the 45k/year you need to just not starve in Toronto (according to that vid. This sounds so alien to me, coming from a rural part of Germany)
@Koda-4045 күн бұрын
@@Crotaro I agree with your point, there is competitiveness regardless of where you apply but It does help that game dev isn't limited to in-person positions within the country. Most people I know from Toronto in the field make better income elsewhere outside of toronto itself.

I actually love pigeons. As a kid I rescued one that was someone's eacaped pet and he was so sweet. He got caught outside in the rain and was afraid to fly in the rain. But indoors he had no reaction to the vacuum cleaner 😅 Definitely an indoor bird. We had to take him to the shelter though. I just hope they found his family or that he got adopted. As a kid I couldn't make the decision to keep him if no one claimed him, unfortunately.

There is actually a modern roller coaster that may cause you to grey out. It’s called Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion. It has the most intense moments of any roller coaster in the world, with prolonged periods of 4.5 Gs or more and very rapid switches between positive and zero/negative G-forces. Many people including me have reported greying out or blacking out for a brief moment on that ride. However this doesn’t mean that roller coasters are dangerous. no roller coaster in the world is designed to sustain strong G-forces for a dangerous amount of time

In the same vein, lawns are useless: rip out your grass, replace it with native wildflowers. I did that last year, but the grass started to re-invade, so this year I went with a vegetable garden. But next year I'm going to mix native wildflowers with vegetables. I'm done with grass lawns though.

nice video on a good topic. IMO the narrative structure made the learning feel slow while the visuals were chaotic.

The biggest thing anyone can do is to respect the animals that live in leaf litter, including native pollinators. Many people take aesthetics of their manicured lawn more importantly than its function as a part of nature. There is no need to bag leaves in plastic with all the native pollinators in it. Just rake into a designated pile in the backyard so they have a place to hibernate for the warmer months

I guess since I'm first I'll put the comment down. Also a word of warning to bot makers that plague comments. I hope you read whatever your bots say in a court room out loud. If you wanna make bots say horrid things then read it out loud and in person. I hope you feel shame from that moment onwards.
