I started playing chess three months ago and because of your classes I was able to do three brilliant moves closely in arrow today and win by resignation. I am a 675 elo and opponent was 744 elo. Your lessons have sparkled my interest in chess so much more, before I couldn't properly understand want was going on now I'm thriving to improve my abilities every day because of you. Thank you!!!

I find these videos to be very educational, but the click noise you do on the last letter of your sentence is really sharp to the point where it gets irritating and unbearable. Other than that, overall quality is excellent

what was the need of the gambit , you could have directly played c3 ? was it to stop the black from moving to d5 which would have helped him to control the center???

If I see it correctly, the two major mistakes of black were: 1) Retreat the bishop from b4 to Ba5 when attacked by pawn c3 (instead of Bc5 which would block the diagonal) and 2) Defending the f7 attack by battery with Nh6 (instead of Qf6 or Be6). Would you agree?

21:21 it's crazy that if black takes the knight he loses a rook

Questions at 1:00 e5 - I think it is a good move because it challanges the center and potentially gives white an isolated pawn. I would respond with c3 because it is the only option I can think of. I would not take it not to lose the right to castle. I think there is also Nf3 but that seems too complex. Bc5 - I think it is a good move because it develops the bishop, gets ready to castle and attack an unprotected piece. I don't know If I should respond with Be3 protecting while developing a piece (which could have me lose the bishop pair and have an isolated pawn after 1. .. Ng4 2. Bc4 Nxe3 3. fxe3). Or if I should with c3, not developing a piece but keeping the bishop pair and likely not having an isolated pawn.

Hey Robert, thanks a ton for the awesome video! Could you make a similar one for chess shorts? I'd love to see how you use your MacBook Pro for them and how you adjust the resolution in ScreenFlow to fit the format. Would be super helpful! Thanks again for all your help!

King'KI echo all the other praise for these excellent videos on The Pirc, Czech Pirc and King's Indian. Obviously, a lot of work has gone into them, and that is to be applauded. I have one minor gripe, and that is I wish someone who specializes in the Pirc would use the correct pronunciation. It's "peerts" not "perk". Other than that, great work from Mr Ramirez.
