These are lovely! I'm making a resin lamp and keep underestimating how transparent and pale the resin needs to be for my shells to show up 🙄 trying my 3rd attempt today, and I'm going to do a sphere using this technique: mostly blue with some transparent iridescent flake glitter, then blue with shells on the bottom with no sand so the light can travel.

Wow, I’m not only in love with your work, but your style and products used, and information shared is top-of-the-line. I appreciate that you cover respirator protection pertaining to toxic fumes and keeping it well ventilated. Most of the videos I’ve seen they don’t even talk about the respirator or anything pertaining to toxic fumes. I know from a personal experience how toxic it is. Those toxic fumes happened to me. What I found out is that even respirators have an expiation date. I had opened a brand new respirator sitting on the shelf for a few years. Put it on, unaware that the filters were dried out. Consequently, the fumes went right through the mask. Causing chemical burns to my throat and lungs.

These turned out beautiful, but is there a reason for the top coat of resin? And if so, why was a liquid Latex place on top? Doesn't that prevent edge to edge top coat resin coverage once you remove the liquid Latex? Would the sides of the coaster not work?
