Your LIVE on Discord is incredibly beneficial. I was able to ask John LIVE and show him with my video, the specific issue I was having on his *epic* Haunted Mansion build. Ended up being I'm just so new to crafting that I didn't see a legitimately obvious issue. He was so helpful, and didn't tell me I was a moron for ignorance, (I would have), he literally walked me through it without any judgment and made me feel like I wasn't stupid (which is debatable 😅).

This looks really good, but i wouldn't say it "looks exactly like individually placed bricks" were used. Its a great build with its own style, but its not the same style as individual bricks. All these brick strips look exactly the same, which is fine, but it doesnt have the irregularities and imperfections of individual bricks, it doesnt look the same Still fantastic, still very useful, just not the same

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)

As an avalanche, I like your method. I actually liked the look of the boulders. So when I make this I think I’ll make a 2nd one, and try pressing in the sculptamold as I build each layer of boulders, so most of it is below the main line of sight. Then glue in small rocks between, and sand just on the base. So more like a couple boulders have broken loose in a mtn pass, or a portion of the ceiling broken free in a cave to make the passage tighter squeeze. … and then I see you did something like that w the example at the very end.

Another opening visual could be of a “drape” of vegetation, like it’s overgrown. Flip the entire build around and it’s a cave entrance too. Then you can create a drape of little plastic leaves & vines glued to a mesh. And you’ve made the cave deep enough that w the plastic off, you could hide a monster mini in there too!

Damn man I have to give you credit for your level of craftsmanship. The fact your builds are interactive are next level. That’s actually legos business model. All their builds have to do “something”. As a novice crafter, watching you get such detailed cuts on the proxxon for your builds and the amount of detail that goes into your works is inspiring. I often watch your videos to get ideas for my own builds or just to see how you do things. Keep it up man!

What an epic build this is going to be! Can’t wait to see all of it! And you got to see Nate from Dwarven Forge and GinnyDi, awesome! Questions for your Q&A video. I know I asked this before, but this may be a good one. What tools or add-ones do you recommend so that someone can get the most out of their Proxxon? Besides the Proxxon and other hot wire cutters what other tools would you recommend someone have for terrain building? (Assuming one would have the basics - handheld drill, Olfa knife, soldering iron, etc.).

It looks interesting, the only major issue that I can see is that it seems more empty for a Mordheim/Frostgrave type table, and a lack of vertical travel for it as well. Both kind of need access that goes everywhere for characters to travel. Platworms and walkways with crumbling buildings that tower as a crumbling monument to the fallen city.
