My god, LaBrie was incredible in this period. I saw them four times between 2004-06, and they are amongst the best shows I've ever seen.

If James had continued singing with this clean voice instead of that unnecessary rasp he added in 93 I think his voice would have lasted a bit longer. The touring schedule was of course always gonna be a factor
