Note of general interest: the show took place on the 24th anniversary of the recording of the band's first Live album, the famous and well loved Live At The Marquee. On that occasion the band walked the stage of another famous venue of London, the Marquee Club.
On both occasions, the entirety of the band's pivotal album, Images And Words, was played.
In this video James LaBrie introduces Take The Time by recollecting a few memories from the recording sessions involving rice and champagne, and gives credit to Derek Oliver for securing the band a recording deal for their second album, that went on to become Images And Words. Mr. Oliver, in attendance, was invited to stand up and received a big and well deserved round of applause from the 3600 fans gathered at the full-capacity Apollo.

Travelled from Northern Ireland to see this show, I thought Labrie was outstanding. One of the best gigs I've ever been to.

Awful, unfortunately... And btw... It is tuned a halfstep lower than the original version. Do not want to offend anyone, but DT, unless there is something big coming, reached it's pinacle a long time ago. I saw them in Zürich this year. LaBrie could not even sing the Songs from their recent album.

I thought he did pretty well. It is unfair to put his performances to comparison with the 1992 standard.

^ I agree, you can't expect his voice to sound exactly as it did 25 years ago. He is nearly 54.

Ruby Inferno at this point, his quality of voice is not enough. Sounds like a angry cat

Ruby Inferno sometimes is better stop and questioning the gig quality they're offering. I'm a singer and a big fan since early times and i guess James must be very sad. Singing every night with troubles is actually a torture

Without comparison. He sings awful!. Now a days his live work is unsustainable
