The performance of 'Going Down to Liverpool' on this same show is the Bangles as they truly were before MTV got in the way - an a%^e kicking guitar band. No Eternal Flame required.

This, Test Transmission, and Butcher Blues still sound fucking awesome almost 20 years later. Maybe it’s the spacey synths and hip hop rhythms, this album has aged a lot better than most of the indie from that time period.
