I kind of agree, but maybe not. Age appropriate is too broad. But there are certainly some time worn principles of clothing and what to wear at certain ages.

Crocks suck, and I find dress shoes and welted boots to be more comfortable. But, then again, I am weird about my footwear. Soft and squishy soles made of rubber lack stability. I rarely wear sneakers either for the same reason. Soles like leather or Danite are far more solid and stable. Even if I found crocks comfortable, they are still ugly as sin. No go!
