I remember one article in "Sportman" an Italian magazine back in the days, I am not sure about the name of the magazine in other countries, but I kept reading over and over about Labrada's diet where you mentioned wine, and I was shocked: wine?? then you had a "scientific" explanation for the wine, and I was relieved: "If Labrada says so it has to be good." thank you for these great videos.

Other guys in 'tha biz' should see that being kind and nice works. I really like to watch your content because it's straight and simple, while explained slowly in a clear way.

Would you be in agreement with Jason Gallant that partial range of motion is safer? Here's a link to his KZbin, encase you want to check it out. He's natural, very big and has never trained full rom. youtube.com/@naturalgallantbodybuilding?si=F2_WYuQ-RVE0YpjR

This is old-school bodybuilding from the golden era. No fancy stuff, just plain and simple routine that just works if you put in the work and intensity.

This dude still looks phenomenal! I remember bring inspired by him when I first started lifting at 16 years old... back in 80s. He was always in magazines and top shows. Amazing testament to the sport. OG

Thanks for the hyper-extensions tip. I was just doing them today and felt that my hamstrings got most of the workout and wondered if I should not do this on back day. Thanks for the clarity. Now I know the 2 variations. I had to come back and edit this and add that I really enjoyed watching this. The whole conversation about going to California and the atmosphere then was great. It reminds of the BMX freestyle atmosphere in Cali. back then. This video made me reminisce and feel good. Thx.

I am just coming back to Lee Labrada at 50 years old. I followed him for my example and used his routines and instructions when I was 16-18 years old. I am watching this and remember that I even had the same yellow Nike ACGs he is wearing. Good times. Back to my roots!
