The title of this video "The hidden features of..." - exactly what hidden features?
@JustinSpeer7 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching and for your question! The phrase 'hidden features' refers to aspects of the backpack that aren't immediately obvious, like the specialized materials it's made from, or design elements that enhance functionality but aren't always visible at first glance. This is especially true with outdoor gear, where small details can make a big difference when you're on the trail. I hope this helps clarify! Feel free to ask if you have any other questions about the backpack!

Would have bought if it had a headrest no headrest on this expensive chair is insane😅
@JustinSpeer20 күн бұрын
If a headrest is an absolute must, I can see your point. But I don't care for headrests so this chair really fits the bill for me. Super comfortable and great for my back. Thanks for watching.

I have been really happy with them. The only drawbacks, in my opinion, or the aren't many color options and a lot of times various models are out of stock. But it's a growing company, so I'm sure that aspect will get better over time.
That's great. When you get the Topo Traverse, please let me know how you like it.

No- I've actually got long arms. The sleeves are really long. And that's been a consistent critique of the jacket across multiple reviews. But that being said, I really love the jacket. Works well in a variety of conditions.

I am worried that these may be too thin. I know you mentioned in the video that they seem durable. How have they held up?
@JustinSpeerАй бұрын
Hi. I've had these leashes, collars, and harnesses for over a year now and I'm happy to report they're still holding up perfectly. Yes- they are thin. But there has been no fraying on them at all. No stitching has come loose. The only wear and tear on them is that some of the black paint on the metal hardware has worn off. But functionally they're perfect.

I've been wearing lems since their widest fits my feet without rubbing on my pinky. I'm not very active and walk on paved trails/ grass with some small walks. Would you suggest these shoes or a different topo shoe? Thanks for the video!
@JustinSpeerАй бұрын
Oh, I'm curious how you like the Lems. I've seen those before and often wondered if they're worth purchasing. For the Top Athletic shoes, yes- I would highly recommend both the Traverse as well as the Terraventure 4 WP. Those are the two pairs I own. And both pairs of shoes are great for pavement as well as the trail. I've been using them as my travel shoes since they're equally good for both. I took the Traverse on a 10-day vacation all throughout Arizona, doing a lot of walking in-town as well as a couple hikes on trails. And they were excellent. I even took them kayaking and they were fully submerged in water and dried out quickly. I was amazed. And I've used the Terraventure 4 WP's on my travels to Colorado. Most of the time was spent in cities, but it was nice to have these for the two hikes I did. Can't say enough good things about them. Very comfortable and a nice wide toe box.

👋🏻 what brand name pants do you have on in several of the clips of the video?.
@JustinSpeerАй бұрын
All are from Fjallraven. The darker ones are the Keb Trousers M Reg and the lighter color ones are the Abisko Lite Trekking Trousers M Reg. The Keb Trousers are good for 3 seasons, the Abisko Lites are great for hot weather. And then I also have a pair of Vidda Pro Ventilated Trousers M Reg that I like to wear when it's really cold. I swear by the Fjallraven hiking pants. So comfortable. I used to sometimes hike in shorts, but these keep my legs protected from shrubs, nettles, and bugs. Thanks for watching!

The traverse are sold-out in Canada, so I just ordered a pair of the Pursuit 2. They have the same drying technology in the fabric and sole, and are supposed to be a more comfy ride. I am doing backcountry portages with 60 pound packs, so the Pursuit 2 may have less stability but I think my feet will be happier. I decided to ditch traditional water-proof hikers because my feet would be burning and the hard structure would wear my feet. Hoping I don't bruise my toes or feet with the rocks and roots

Lovely style and colour organiser! It looks like your pens have a rubber grip? I imagine they 'catch'/drag on the leather pen loop and this is why it's hard to get them in (besides that they might be on the thicker side for the size of the pen loop)? Re: color options, I just have to say that while sure, more color options would be nice, at least these aren't bad and they're mostly solid. Topo is the only single hiking/trail runner manufacturer whose shoes aren't completely hideous.
@JustinSpeer5 ай бұрын
Good point. Yes- I just took these Topo shoes on a 10-day trip through Arizona and received several compliments on them. People seem to like the green color. These held up well for hiking in the Arizona desert as well as kayaking. Several times they were fully submerged in the river and they not only did well on the slippery rocks but also dried out fairly quickly. They never felt waterlogged. I was very impressed.

@@JustinSpeer I have the olive green Pursuits and I was pleasantly surprised that they were better looking in person. The only Topos I've had, but incredibly comfortable. Good to know the Traverse live up to the hype regarding water.
