Thanks for the review. I just ordered the forestry cloth cruiser and was worried about the sizing. I'm 2" shorter than you and got a large also.

i have the unlined version and it s amazing, i put water bottles in the game pocket or maps and use it while fighting fire it hold up well dang near water proof and if embers fall on it they dont hurt it. just dont get it too small as it does shrink if it get wet.

Thanks @troydavis27. Yes- I'm extremely happy with mine, too. Super durable. And this jacket seems to get better with age. At least it has more personality. Thanks for watching.

Have they stopped making this jacket?? No lined regular length tin cloth cruiser on their website now...
@JustinSpeer Жыл бұрын
Not that I've heard of. But sometimes the jacket goes out of stock. I know when I was thinking about purchasing it (over the course of a year), it went out of stock a couple times. So when I saw it back in-stock, I pulled the trigger right away.

Nice looking jacket! I've seen another variation of this jacket in more of a dark brown color, but I don't see that on their site. Do they still make those? And how has this jacket held up since you've posted the video?
@JustinSpeer9 ай бұрын
Right now, I'm only seeing the Cinder color available. But the inventory comes and goes. This jacket has held up perfectly so far. No issues whatsoever. I still love it. It's my go-to jacket when I go Jeepin' out in the woods.

@JustinSpeer Awesome to hear! Definitely looking into it for sure. Seems like a fantastic jacket!

What year is this jacket? Because I love the double entry lower pockets... my older Filson does not have that. The older Filson is the same length and is unlined which I like for the versatility of wearing in warmer temperatures.

Hi there. I purchased my jacket in July of 2022. I'm still loving it almost two years later. How old is your jacket?
@katman119 ай бұрын
Tx for the reply Justin...circa 1980. Got it from a thrift shop online Etsy... south of 230 bucks including shipping so I was happy about that vintage made in America

Ty for the review. Filson just did their 50 percent off sale for the year so I ordered one. Couldn't pass it up at that price. Only downside, I had to order a size larger
@JustinSpeer Жыл бұрын
50% off is a great deal! Hope you like it. I've been really happy with mine so far. The only drawback I had was that when it was brand new, it would leave a little oil/wax residue on my car seats after wearing it in the car. But that was only in the beginning.

Is it warm enough to wear it in the winter ?
@JustinSpeer6 ай бұрын
Yes, it is. It's a fairly heavy jacket. And it helps that it's lined. Plus, there's room for layering.

Im on the fence about getting it because I already have three waxed canvas jackets. But some are thicker and thinner then the other. This one looks like its in the medium spot that would work well for me.

Juan, I hear you. I had this jacket on my wish list for over a year before I pulled the trigger. It's definitely a heavier weight than the Flint & Tinder Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket I own. But it's not as thick/heavy as the Ship John's Wills jacket. I would consider the Filson jacket medium or medium/heavy. When you have it on you definitely feel like you could walk through anything- blackberry bushes, etc. It feels very protective.

Do you prefer snap closures or buttons ( like on the short lined cruiser)?
@JustinSpeer Жыл бұрын
I prefer buttons on the heavier jackets- they just seem a little more secure. But I definitely like snap closures on lighter jackets- like my flannel-lined waxed trucker jacket from Flint & Tinder.

Money is to expensive for a child in Bangladesh building those jackets.
