The instrument is part of Chinese Kit. You use it from sliding your finger across the big, center drum for the scraping, guiro-like sound.

@@andrewmboy777 As far as I can tell, there’s no party horn sample for me to use from GarageBand’s Apple Loops library, so I had to make use of what I have without downloading any extensions that costs money, or use up all of my iPad’s storage to the point where it’s unable to save my GarageBand files, which could also result in lost progress, or some file wipes.

This makes me think that Bandlab is worse than Garageband but im not so sure
@Camphreneas29 күн бұрын
@@thwok59 Each music program has its own flaws, and advantages over each other. Whether they have more instrument types over one program, or the accuracy of that instrument is better in the latter than the former, or even when it comes down to how simple, or complex it is to use that program to make compositions, but what matters the most is how the user uses these programs to its advantages, and come up with workarounds to dodge some of its flaws. I could argue that FL Studio could be better than GarageBand, in terms of its larger library of sounds, and instruments to use, as well as better optimizations of a song than GB, or GarageBand is better for portability, and accessibility, making it easier for beginners to use. (I don’t have much knowledge on Bandlab, so I couldn’t really say much of anything about it, and compare it to GB, or FLS, or else that’d be unfair.) Other than that, I’m surprised my dumb, silly, and greatly unbalanced covers manages to be “better” than Bandlab in some way.😅
@thwok5929 күн бұрын
@@Camphreneas Well FL studio is #1 like that's how the monster sounds are made. Bandlab does have a sampling feature which I use a lot but I don't know if garageband has a sampling feature but it probably does

@@thwok59 It does. I started to use sampling more in my covers lately since I’ve learned how to use it almost a year ago. How do you merge isntrument tracks together without ending up with both tracks being in the same instrument? I saw that you were able to do that with Ffydil in this.
@CamphreneasАй бұрын
@@MIC2408 You tap on the instrument on the left sidebar, and select the “merge” option. It’ll show you what instruments you want to merge, and when you’re done, it’ll merge the instruments together, and automatically creates a copy of the GarageBand file you’re working with, just in case you need to fix something, or do some tweaks before moving onto the final revisions after the merge. I do this quite a handful of times when I’m working with monsters with multiple sounds, or instruments that can’t do staccato, and sustained notes at the same time, like Ffidyll, Periscorp, or Rhysmuth, to name a few.

@@CheerioGuy I did some modifications to the main instrument I used for Meebkin to make it sound more closer to that of an angklung.
