No time to collect their stuff after destroying the Tripod but then 10 seconds later they stand on top of a hill in full view of approaching Tripods wondering at the mountains. Some of this is mind-boggling terrible. .

Used to watch this every Wednesday night at 7pm on PBS channel 13 New York. Started watching about 4 episodes in and spent an entire Saturday watching a marathon of season 1 and caught up on the first few episodes that I'd missed. At the conclusion of season 2 some PBS hosts said they hadn't filmed season 3 yet but as soon as it was ready they would air it. I waited......and waited and never knew what happened. The show never left my mind though. I read the final book in order to find out what happened but damn,i really wish the series continued.
